Yeah, I said as much. At first, I was wondering what was up, but it now looks like the Rose Garden gathering was a full-fledged superspreader event. That doesn't mean there aren't a thousand and one lies attached to all of this, but that most of those people are testing positive would be too hard to coordinate as a fake-out.

What's more concerning to me now is the Trump family entourage appears to know they were infected and arrived too late to the debates to be tested on-site. That's pretty much criminal intent to infect others including Biden and his entourage.

Scott's office said he was positive, then walked it back and said he was negative. WTF is wrong with these people?

DeSantis lifted the requirements recently so you don't have to wear a mask when you go shopping now and as you'd expect some of the locals took off their masks. So you can count on Florida to continue seeding the rest of the nation with more rona

Per your point, the GOP leadership is probably deeply infected down to the kissing cousin level of their family trees and there will be a second wave, especially as flu season hits right around election time. The flu will compound rona, something a lot of these ignoramuses fail to comprehend. It will supercharge covid and start killing people with greater efficiency, because if you contract the flu and then covid kicks in, you're in trouble.

I don't get these posts about staying classy.

There's a big difference between wishing people dead and saying you won't shed a tear if they die. Know the difference, because it is a significant one.

We're talking about a cabal of the worst Americans in power who are reaping the same fate they bestowed upon the greater American public, so what we don't need now is moral guidance on how to react when amoral criminals get sick.

It could not be more abundantly clear how dysfunctional the executive branch of our government is currently under Trump's lack of leadership.

I understand Pence has his own bizarre and dangerous ideological baggage to be afraid of, but he is hardly a leader himself either.

That Trump is such a black hole at the top of the heap, he sucks all pragmatic reason into his deferential vortex that the GOP has allowed to form by their obsequious groveling to this man's vanity.

That means there is nothing left intact from traditional procedures that is functional about this White House, because Trump annihilated functional processes and destroyed the hierarchies of authority required to run a country. Everything runs based on his whims alone.

And now that he is hospitalized that leaves us with a paralytic WH unable to function without Trump's oafish pronouncements and snap judgments.

They didn't even notify Pelosi he was being hospitalized which is bad news.

The ability to transact basic actions necessary for the continuation and/or transition of power has been destabilized so if Trump gets worse we're entering a muddy scenario with Trump's henchmen scurrying around like chickens with their heads off. This is just ugly.

Just to be perfectly clear about how these people operate, if Pence tests or tested positive they will attempt to cover it up as long as they feel they can hide the truth, because Pence testing positive would be a massive blow to their empire with Pelosi being on standby.

Trust me, if Pence is sick, they are hiding it.
