Yea, that doesn’t even make sense.

Chris Sheridan really fell off hard.

Broussard also but at least he’s still on TV as a talking head. Sheridan is completely off the grid.

Hopefully FO tells Thibs to keep Obi's minutes around 12 per game, as an increase in minutes to Obi would represent change and change is bad.

Sheridan down to renting out booths in rural county fairs.
$1 to talk basketball for 5 minutes.
$2 if talk is about Knicks.

-He's good Mitch insurance
-Pretty Skilled offensively (averaged 4.7 assists per 36 minutes)

- Maybe has some potential to shoot it? Has good percentages from 3 on very low volume

I like the signing in a vacuum because he has the makings of a long term starting center, but signing him with Mitch would be committing over 20 million (based on assumed prices) to centers and obviously would block Sims playing time this year.. At least Hartenstein is young as well

Wait... how much are you expecting him to get in this market?

I've been against giving up a decent amount of cap space to the 5 spot if you're just a rim runner with no offensive skills (Mitch and Noel). I can get behind Isiah as a backup and might start to show some perimeter skills.

Well the most the Clippers can give him is 6 million so if he is looking elsewhere it likely means he is looking more at MLE money which is around 9.5 million.

Difference between Hartenstein and Noel/Mitch is that Hartenstein can pass and dribble the ball a little bit. He's shown some flashes of being able to shoot some as well. However, the other 2 are a lot more athletic than him which raises their ceiling on defense higher than Hartenstein.

After they strike out on Brunson, Knicks announce they have resigned Walker to a 3 year $30 million contract with a team option after the 2nd year.

As sham stated in antohter thread, we could have done the same, kept our pick and Duren if we did that trade and traded Burkes and Noel as we did. This Brunson whale could potentially burn this front office if he choose to go to Miami.

Isaiah Hartenstein is intriguing. Yeah, Knicks cannot have Mitch, Hartenstein, Sims, Randle, Obi.

Katz at the Athletic speculated Knicks would have to practically give Randle away for a contract of equal value. Wonder what those contracts are.

So lets get a little realistic here. Lets say we get fooled again and Brunson, Ayton and all our other wet dreams turn out to be more media manipulation of us. Who are some nice young FAs you would like to see the Knicks go after if we go full youth core with guys 23-26 years old? My list would be:

Mo Bamba
Jalen Smith
Malik Monk
Donte DiVincenzo
Tyus Jones
Kevon Looney
