if Dolan is actually interested in selling the team, it makes a lot more sense to keep all the picks as is than it is to go Allin on DM

All these leaks are to get Dolan impatient. Leon is going to have to continue to work hard to make sure Dolan doesn't screw things up like he did with Melo. Ainge must also be getting coached by Ujiri. If there were other intriguing offers out there, Ainge would have already pulled the trigger. He needs to move Mitchell in order to turn around and trade Conley, etc. If Ainge trades Conley, etc before Mitchell then loses all leverage. Knicks need to hold steady. No one can offer more than the Knicks and no need to meet Ainge's demands.

I can't believe some are so quick to give in and give up a 2027 unprotected. Chances are most of the current roster and regime will be long gone in 5 years so why take that risk not knowing what the roster is? It's not like Spider is this super talent that elevates a team to a guaranteed playoff spot by himself!

2027 unprotected is a deal breaker for me and hopefully Leon and co. feel the same way!

It all makes sense now, Chanel’s favorite player Westbrick caused him so much trauma that he is now afraid to like anybody who doesn’t have a high TS%. Well except IQ who still sucks but that’s more of a ego thing at this point

the nba really should just give an equal chance to everyone in the lottery. and yes, there will be teams in the last few weeks who decide they would rather not be in the playoffs and tank their way out of it. but that's way better than 4 or 5 teams deciding not to compete all year long.
