i think he would play the 4 here like he does now in minny. now that the knicks have seen it work with gobert, him and mitch would be real similar. randle would have to be traded there just to make the money work. he's making 50 mill next summer. and they don't need a 5 anyway with gobert and naz reid. it will open the floor a little because he'll shoot the 3 more than randle. but does it really make us any better ? nah. but he might be the only guy out there to get. kind of sad actually if this is what the end result of them getting a "star" is. how many picks is it gonna take to trade him for randle too ? i kind of feel like it shouldn't take any.

I don't see how Burks is a playoff option though, he's never been really good/efficient in them. His game hasn't translated to the playoffs, to me he's just a stop gap to help us get there by making sure Tom doesn't play Jalen 47.5mpg. I don't see how you can put him on the court against better defenders who will quiet a lot of what he does down and then go at him on the other end.

Bojan however has been an effective/efficient offensive weapon in the playoffs.

I think Thibs has no imagination and can’t fathom 8 minutes per game without an offense led by an iso rim-attack PG. My guess is he goes 8 man rotation plus about 8 minutes of AB playing poor-man’s Derrick Rose.

Formula = 100% mpg rim protector C + 100% mpg iso rim-attack PG

In general, I'd say it's a bad idea to try to make scorers and dribblers into role players, and older players even more so. They should be able to hit shots and add energy, run the floor.

Good shooting should translate but neither AB or BB is a spot shooter really.

bojan is in the 80+ percentile of spot-up shooters, and that's not even adjusted for minimum. dude shooting like 49% on 4 spot-ups per game. quite literally one of the best in the game.

I guess my point is that the more dribbling a guy does the more it will skew the offense. DD was having a really good year. We are messing with the balance.
