Randle's gonna have a good run at some point this year. He's a guy that really needs to ramp up after injury and not an easy player to integrate because he's so ball dominant. Once he gets rolling I think it will look a lot better than it does at first. Now, does he stay healthy? Does he stay focused? Does it all fit together? Does he get along with everyone in Minny. Is this our problem? I only know the answer to the last question.

I think the idea is around him fitting around Edwards and his strengths. I can’t imagine they want Randle to dribble the air out of the ball while Edwards stands around. Ant and Towns was always an awkward fit but it worked bc Towns is one of the greatest three point shooting big men of all time. Now other teams can sag off Randle a bit especially when he’s missing which will make it tough for Edwards. Not saying he won’t improve but the spacing isn’t ideal right now with him in there.

Yeah, but he also has a gravity where you have to double him when he's rolling. He sucked yesterday but had one play towards the end - likely when his shoulder was a little looser - where he just bulled his way underneath to a layup, tossing his opponent like a ragdoll. We'll miss that kind of bully play though I think Towns' advantages more than make up for it.

The issue is that he thinks he is the saviour and best player on the court.

Even his assists are usually double clutch passes after exhausting all options for him to score.

We all waited for him to genuinely change his ways. He obviously can do plenty on the court but he’s not a winning player.
