One of the worst brunson games I've seen. He put up numbers but was absolutely hunted on defense and had like 20 turnovers and missed free throws. Offense had no flow and he got into an ego match with Hardaway.

One of those nights when the best FT shooting team in the league misses double digit shots from the line and terrible from 3 it's just a sign this was one of those games.

Or it's the coach because we're not actually used to switching? The first half they weren't trapping, they were going under screens after a guy had already made several threes. Guys are sinking to protect the paint on drives, and it leads to wide open shots because we always protect the paint. The Knicks have given up three point shot at an alarming rate since Tom has been our coach.

They can’t guard the drives, so how do you explain the bad defense when they can’t keep guys from getting in the paint? We are getting obliterated in the paint. Just terrible individual defense, has nothing to do with scheme or not knowing how to switch. It happens on 1 on 1 coverage
