I'd somehow try to get Sam Dam @ C and @ SG maybe start Roy then sub Green in @ the 7min mark of the 1st Q's, that way you still Roy saved for the rest of the game.

Could even start Peaches, he's a defensive SG who can hit the 3, just has questionable IQ at times that's all.

i thought about going after dalembert, but camby is a much better help defender (boozer), and knows his role. camby is a much better fit than dally.

pietry dish is a nice FA pick up, but have VC as veteran off the bench. i actually like my balanced bench as well.

i think i have strong starters, and one of the strongest and balanced benches. it'd be nice to get a stronger position from every position, but it's unrealistic. look at where i came from though. i gave up everything to get durant, and i definitely built a championship caliber team around him, with youth to develop behind him; not strong, but enough (conley, durant, seraphin, green are all young)

i may think about your suggestion though. i actually was thinking of putting Roy at PG. the dude can, and has, played all 3 positions, 1-3

dunno how to rate willy's trade.. i like it but i dont. i had him rated first but now im not sure. josh smith is better than ibaka but josh also plays way outside of his assets sometimes and plays dumb. i thought ibaka would fit well of the ball hogging of westbrook and melo :)

lowry is good too.. i picked him last BAT. however i think westbrook is way way better..

Thanks and yeah I feel you, honestly though the easiest thing I could've done was stand pat and coast and take the easy way out but I liked the challenge of changing the identity of the team once again so instead of sticking w/ a cloned OKC team, I went w/ Paul Westphal to build a run and gun 1993 Phoenix Suns style team or transform to a Miami Heat 2012 team.

Transformation is not yet complete cause certain GM's are being "uncooperative"

I'll keep trying though but btw, J Smoove hasn't balled like your description this past season and he'll give me a couple more buckets than Ibaka and get out in transition better since he has the capability to push the break himself.

Also as far as the Lowry Westbrook thing, Westbrook is far and away the better scorer, what I looked at prior to the trade was how did each of them affect the game when they weren't scoring and I saw Lowry's impact being significant even when he didn't score. I saw games where he had high double digit assist games (18, 14) while scoring 6pts and 8pts (iirc) while taking about 6-8 shots in those same games.

I figured he'd make it easier for the scorers to score while he runs the offense, hit the spotup 3, and defend, hopefully.

http://www.nba.com/2012/news/07/10/nba- ... index.html

The National Basketball Association today announced that the Salary Cap for the 2012-13 season will be $58.044 million. The tax level for the 2012-13 season has been set at $70.307 million. Any team whose team salary exceeds that figure will pay a $1 tax for each $1 by which it exceeds $70.307 million.

The Salary Cap and tax level, both of which are unchanged from 2011-12 amounts, go into effect at 12:01 a.m. ET on Wednesday, July 11, when the league's "moratorium period" ends and teams can begin signing free agents and making trades.

The minimum team salary, which is set at 85 percent of the Salary Cap, is $49.337 million for the 2012-13 season.

Teams should start calculating salaries now.

My team is at $66.8 million (until Amundson and Pargo are signed)

Teams who don't reach the minimum salary should be penalized just as much as those who exceed the luxury tax.

yeah.. you haven't posted much, but if healthy, wade and big Al is as good of an inside/outside combo that you'll find.. you have some nice pieces, but your shallow, and ready to win now. I'd look to move thomas robinson and possibly even carslile for depth

Cool...the Bulls should be well under the lux tax.

Comments are interesting.. I just think Rondo is the distributor/playmaker outside of LeBron and possibly Deron that any of my starters have played with.. Guys like Milsap and Granger can easily be 20 point a night Scorers.

jose I really like your team defense. I think you can be one of the best defensive teams. But have both Rondo and Allen in your backcourt could cause some major spacing issues. Varejao also doesn't command to much attention outside the paint and while Milsap can hit a jumper his offensive game is better in the pain.

So Granger is your true outside threat getting major minutes unless you expect John Jenkins to be getting a lot of run on your team.

I love the Rondo and Granger combo. I think Granger is the perfect scroer to put next to rondo. But you could really use a stretch big. I think Frye would be a great backup for your team.

I have a plethera of backup bigs if anyone is interested in Pachulia/Vucevic/Samardo along with one of my other players. I could use an upgrade at either PG or SG.

Isiah Thomas could be available even though i value him high.
