Dsj/frank/Barrett/Knox/mitch.
How many wins does that starting line up win in a season?

Barrett's issues have been and always were shot selection related and not the ACTUAL passes and reads he can make. When focusing more on being a distributor he can make pretty much every read necessary to be a competent ball handler as a wing. He just doesn't always make the right decision consistently on when to actually pass or take the shot... That will have to be cleaned up at the next level but it's easier to clean that up then it is to clean up other stuff.
I have always put that all under the "vision" umbrella but if other fans don't then that's fair.
Court vision is seeing everything that's going on with the defense and making the correct read/decision, whether it's a pass or a shot.
But, yes, I do agree that his actual passing ability is good, but it's a problem that he can't determine when he needs to use it and when not to.

That or he's being asked which G-League team he'd prefer to play for next year.

I separate decision making from vision.

does he go right less frequently than righties go left?
Dunno! Why I asked what I did. He definitely looks smooth with his left though.

I feel you my man. You're certainly entitled to feel that way. Everyone should have their own understanding of things and definitions of certain attributes because ultimately that's how more info and perspective is shared which, in turn, naturally produces more insightful conversation, debate, and data points to have...
Main point I was trying to get at was I always feel like around this time of year is when people start talking in absolutes with players and often just end up lacking nuance... It's either RJ can't pass or make reads or he will absolutely be a great ball handler or passer. I think, as with most things in life, the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

Re: 3rd pick hype thread I guess
I am really hoping the Knicks keep the pick and take Barrett. I don't see Harden but a lot of young DeMar DeRozen the way he gets to the basket. If we can get top players like KD and Irving it will help him grow like Harden did around KD and Westbrook.
I am so excited about the youth this team has now. Perry and Mills have done a fantastic job. DSJ, Mitch, Knox, Frank, Trier, Barrett and Mudiay (yes, i expect him back) is a ton of moldable potential. Put a couple of stars with some capable vets and they will flourish.
I am hoping when all is said and done we end up with a roster of:
PG: Irving/DSJ/Mudiay
SG: Barrett/Frank/Trier
SF: Knox/Danny Green/Vince Carter
PF: Durant/Vonleh/Kornet
C: Robinson/Jordan
