That jumper brought me back to the 1950s. So those are your highlight plays. Fascinating.

Jokic not lebron though. Lebron has won championships. Jokic hasn’t. This was a bad look for Jokic bro. You know it. Dude got benched for not playing defense and decides to act in frustration by not being in the team’s huddle. That’s not good sportsmanship at all. I was surprised he did that cause he seems like a good team mate and a good person overall.

In fairness I didn't watch any of it so I don't know the context, I'm just defending my son by default.

Spoiler:
I hate to see star players distancing themselves from the rest of the team. Bron in LA, KP in New York... Kobe's the only one who gets a pass, for no reason other than the fact he was Kobe. Still I need to know the context, which I'm not gonna look into, because I don't like the odds I'll be validated

True but he’ll be ok from a minor wrist injury. He even made a 3 after he broke it. It’s true. Wiseman trying to be a unicorn already with a major knee injury. I’m getting KP vibes. Scary!

Right! It only means that Wiseman will be bone-on-bone within a couple of years and then will need microfracture surgery.

No problem

it's kept JJJ out since August

That’s because he chose to repair his meniscus versus removing it. Repairing it has a much longer recovery period.

There’s a pretty good track record of players returning to form after meniscus injuries. Just from the top of my head here’s some examples. Chris Paul, Zion, Bledsoe, Jimmy Butler, Westbrook, even porzingis who has started to look better lately as much as I hate to admit it. It’s not that serious.

A handful of players are sidelined by torn knee cartilage every season in the National Basketball Association, according to a new study, and most make a full recovery within a couple months.

The new study suggests that when those athletes do make it back on to the court, they'll be able to play at the same level as before they got injured.

from what I've read, repairing is better long-term, which is why JJJ did that

I'm sure Weisman will be fine, but a bit concerning nonetheless that he's having knee surgery year one b/c bigs are more prone to lower leg injuries

Yeah, that’s why they repaired it. A lot of players remove it instead so they can return much quicker, but there’s risks with that such as developing osteoarthritis. Memphis is smart for taking the long term approach. I wonder if Wiseman will repair his too

Embiid tore his meniscus too, it's not a career threatening injury for bigs anymore.

I hope Demar gets paid this off-season. Not with the Knicks but he deserves something for that game.

Did Kyrie finesse the Nets into letting him have PTO into his contract?

Look, I actually hope he doesn’t actually have anything serious going on w his family & hope they’re all healthy. But this is the 3rd time this season he’s missed at least 1 game for personal reasons.

1st time it took about 2 weeks to return, rumors started saying he might retire and was possibly depressed. I actually don’t know what the real story was behind this absence since no explanation was ever given.

Then didn’t he take another few days off & it was found he was just at his sisters bday party?

Idk. Again, i hope nothing is going on a his family. But something doesn’t add up.

Schroder calling him the n-word sent Kyrie into depression again. Embiid and Giannis taking notes.

Significantly better than Bullocks.

Then again, he'll wind up costing significantly more, and that's IF the Raptors don't match. Which they probably will.

oh im sure hes better than bullocks

but

30mpg w/ 1asts a game? as a SG?? HARD PASS.

atleast Powell can play 2 positions.
