we're going to get close to a top 5 pick, and then we'll end the season on a run that bumps us out of the top 8. search your feelings. you know it to be true.

its funny though, the Knicks tanked for Zion and got RJ and some people complained that it tanking doesn't work at all. Now look at our predicament. worst record is a guaranteed top 4 pick, at the bare minimum Ivey would have fallen into our laps.

That’s not the case, the worst record can pick 5th and actually has a 48% chance to pick 5th

that still better than #10.

The goal should be to move up and identify good hidden talent.

If the knicks end up in the 5-7 range of the draft, they should aim for Shaedon Sharpe (providing that he turns pro) and then tank another year and aim to get Scoot Henderson. Combine those two with RJ and we got ourselves a foundation for the next decade. then we can try to trade for Zion with future draft picks, etc.

Gabriele Procida, international guy that isn't highly ranked yet but has literally every tool you want for a wing. Just needs to work on improving his game at 19. He is a plus athlete, great size and length, good frame, can defend well, can shoot the ball, you literally just work on his ball handling, play making, and creating and try and make a star out of what is already a nice rotation 3&d 19 year old.

My ideal draft we get him later in the draft and we somehow get Chet.

If we don't get Chet then Johnny Davis or Jaden Ivey.

According to Tankathon pick 4 is Ivey and Pick 5 is Sharpe. Sign me up.

I’m sure everyone’s seen these highlights, but this kid could be brutally effective in the NBA.

No flashy finishes, boring normal jumpers after moving to the open spot instead of step backs, good on the ball defense that gives the offensive player trouble but no big home run defensive plays like blocks & pick 6s.

Just seems to have a really translatable game to the next level. I’m excited by the handle. Deceptively quick and he knows how to use it to create space.

Benedict Mathurin slotted for where we pick at 10 on NBA draft room. Not a crazy high ceiling but might be BPA where we pick

Hell, I think if it is top 4, it’s a chance it still gets traded.

Idk this is the type of draft people are going to be trading out of not into. Unless the Knicks move into the top 3 I don’t see the pick having a lot of value to other teams.

I think there are about 5 guys the Knicks should take a serious look at. Unless they move up to 1 or 2. Even then certain players might be worth moving back and getting assets for. Having a good chance to come away with one of Ivey, Sharpe, TyTy, Dyson, Mathurin in this “ok” draft is not a bad thing. I don’t think any hidden gems like Grimes will be left on the board after the lottery.

this FO has not made those types of big moves and have been rather restrained in how they operate. I see them keeping the pick and building around RJ
