I think the odds are 50/50 between running it back and trading for Donovan.

Booker- not happening (wants to stay in PHX)
Durant- not happening (not getting traded)
Butler- not happening (doesn’t want us)
PG- not happening (wants max, too expensive to s&t for)
Towns- not happening (team is too successful)
Mikal- not happening (I’ve accepted it’s too good to be true)

Unless he absolutely won't play for Thibs that's an option that makes a lot of sense.

He ain't going back to Miami. Riley doesn't say things by accident.

I agree, Donovan on the surface seems to be the most likely one and Randle signing BACK with CAA seems to indicate he is staying.

Duece is very likely to go in any deal as I don't see them breaking up the Nova boys. He has definitely upped his trade value as he is showing excellent defense that is now combined with a strong 3 ball and a developing ability to drive to the hoop too.

I don't see how our depth is improved if you're losing Mitch, Bog, Randle, and McBridge for 2 starters. Gutting the bench and a 20/10 guy for KAT and Bridges just seems more like a debatable upgrade. Still all moot, though, because I don't see Randle being traded and I think T-Wolves are more likely to keep KAT the deeper they go into the playoffs.

I’d never want to pair towns with Randle at all. I’d want KAT instead of him. He’s smarter, taller, a more willing passer, much better shooter. Better player.

McBride also really is not a point guard. He is much like Caruso. Both guys CAN start for a winning team, but only if the other 4 guys are THAT good.

We can't afford to lose him, but he is more valuable to us than other teams so I think we will keep him even if it costs us extra picks.

Butler fit is questionable, but that's not what's interesting about this. Sounds to me Pat has no problem parting ways with Butler if the right team came along.

I could see that. If we are adding another small guard, then we'd have to send one out.
Can't really give playing time to JB, DDV, Spida AND McBuckets.
