i mean, we had the game in the bag. then maxey hits a 4 point play and he pull up from 35+ feet and makes it. theres no defense stopping that in that situation. it was a tough loss. i have no doubt we gonna get them in 6. maxey is not gonna do that again

Fouling there is easier said than done. Maxet is really fast and he can see the foul coming and try and throw something at the hoop and then everyone would be complaining why we put Maxey to the line to tie it up. I agree that ideally we should have fouled but I just don't know if it's that simple. It's not NBA 2K where are you press a button and you get the automatic intentional foul.

Yeah, things got out of hand.

It is what it is at this point. However, I have been saying from Game 1, Maxey is the guy that you want to double team and trap, not Embiid, and this is why.

Hartenstein, Mitch and Precious have 18 fouls. Use them. Embiid can gas himself out for all I care going 1 v 1, but do not let Maxey have free reign to score at will.

Knicks’ main problem now is Maxey will be hot rest of the way and Brunson seems stuck on trying to win it by himself if it gets close

The Knicks are still in the drivers seat; it took a miracle and a prayer shot from Maxey to give the Sixers any hope. 99 times out of 100, that shot doesn't go in from that distance. Would have bee nice to win and get some rest for the next series, but it what it is. Onto game 6..
