I thought I was going to be forced to double dip on bigs. Ware was one of my top targets at 18 pre-draft so I’m glad I snagged Clingan because I would be sick to my stomach if I waited and then the run on bigs happened right before me at 18

People are either super high or very low on this kid but there's not many players to take chances on super high upside this late. F it. Scouted him a bit, and he'd have a beautiful arc in a lot of shots and then just like miss by 4 feet or something wild with the same release, or have crazy defensive instincts and then just be in the complete wrong position in other plays..

But what I really liked is that he's super active and has a non-stop motor. I like his confidence too. Like usually when I see a lot of "high ceiling/low floor" prospects bust it's because they're super passive and reluctant but he's everywhere. Might be two years away from being two years away or a nice investment so we'll see..

Collier was the one other PG I was heavily considering

The difference was just that I think Topic has a better chance of developing a respectable 3pt shot, but Collier is really good.

Pick is in. Could’ve went a few different directions but I think this guy has more to his game than he showed in college and has a trait that will carve out a niche in the league for a long time

decided to swing for the fences here. collier is extremely talented, was the #1 recruit of his class out of high school and was mocked as the #1 pick earlier this year. he needs to improve his shooting but if it all works out for him, it's gonna be scary hours

I was gonna take him at 12 if Cody hadn't fell to me, great pick. I think he just has the right mindset and attitude on the court to be a great player.

He was the last guy I was considering at 11

Dude's arguably the best shooter in the draft, just don't know where he fits positionally. IRL he's gonna get playing time just for the 3pt shooting, but I wasn't sure if I could make it work in BaF with him.

The more I looked into this class, the more I actually started to like it

I don't see any real superstars or even stars, but I do think there are quite a few really good players.
