Bye KAT.

Easier to find 75% of KAT than 75% of Brunson.

seems Jay Wright is out. WWW has probably already sent feelers out to Hurley's agent (who is not CAA btw).

College ball doesn't start until early November so Dan has been in his off-season for a while now. He's probably recruiting and all that jazz right now but otherwise this would be a perfect time for him to make a decision. NYK should bring him in for a meeting.

I heavily trust CPs source now so Malone is almost definitely out. Plus now Begley seemed too say that was unlikely too.

All right... Bryant and Hurley and maybe some surprise out of left field... let's see what they're cooking.

Bryant may accept the PHX job if they offer it.

Ah, Michelle Beadle.

Back in the 00s i would have crawled over hot coals.

And that's all I'll say about that because this is a high class board.

But yeah, this is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.

beg pardon ?

It's a new day on here. I'm toning down my thirst posts about middle aged baddies. We all must play our part.

Wow. One of the few days I'm out of the loop doing crap and I just found out that Thibs got the boot. I'm in utter shock. Never thought Leon had the balls to do it. What a glorious day!!!!!

Would be cool to see him beat the sh*t out of Fireman Bill after he tries to bait the refs about Jalen being a foul merchant.

I'm back....but I want to thank Thibs because he's a big reason I haven't posted here for a while. This forum was always an outlet for me to grieve my frustrations with a franchise that was directionless, and he helped bring back this franchise to respectability, changing the culture in a big way and giving the fans a product we can be proud of.

Thank you Thibs!

Frankly, I never wanted Thibs from the beginning. I was a Kenny Atkinson guy all the way (too bad CLE scooped him up a year before we could), but I can't help but feel bad for him. Dude was all about ball, literally. he has no wife or kids, the game was his first love and I imagine it's tough to lose your dream job when you were so close to a chip and have had so much success turning this franchise around, + all the personal, pre-existing relationships he had w/ the FO, players, and organization. I truly feel for him

He won't, but he also won't let them only run 13-18 PnRs per game between them. Our offense is gross and doesn't play to it's strengths at all. There was a point in the playoffs where Brunson/KAT were running less PnR per game than Portis and Porter Jr.

Everyone expected a deadly two man game between them, we got none of that.

there's this other end of the court that it seems very few people care about. that's where we lost this series. look at the pacers score in the games we won.

You mean the part Thibs was supposed to be a genius at?

My thing with the assistant candidates like Bryant, Quinn, Cassell is that we really don’t know what their philosophy or vision for this team is.

They have no track record to look at. So we really don’t know much… they’re gunna have to be vetted by Leon n Co to make sure we get the right one.

Phil was an assistant when Bulls replaced Doug with him, or Ime/ Mazzula with Celtics

Kerr wasn't even an assistant when Dubs hired him

dear lord.......why would you even speak this into existence ?

My banhmi sandwich at this point would do better than Thibs as our hc  BUT in my most honest humble opinion he'll do great, even championship quality as NBA coach, his fiery personality still remains and is a perfect fit for the NY city and fanbase, he's a tough no nonsense guy who commands immediate respect cuz he's a an NBA champion as a player but he is no fake tough he has to put on the tough guy acts all the time, he can play good cop and bad cop, he knows how to push the right buttons for each individual player

I know this is a hot take but imo if you can manage egos of women (WNBA) so well and coach them to WNBA titles, you can definitely manage men's egos... women's emotions are imo FAR more complex and they're harder to motivate or command respect from no matter if our old conservative thoughts say women always have to follow men's lead, but reality is it's not that simple... and he THRIVED in it... imo he can EASILY manage NBA caliber players' egos

Yeah Russo is so full of sh*t.

Half these talking heads screaming about Tom don't even discuss what was going wrong with the Knicks.

Per Wingo, currently in RealGM Knicks Siberia for running afoul of moderator feelings:

Leon is scapegoating Thibs for his poor bench construction
