But Kidd is not. Felton/Lin at pg, Kidd/JR at shooting guard until Shump is back and then whoever is healthy and playing well at that point.

my read: grunwald learned his lesson from last year by just going with TD as his starting PG

i highly doubt it lin is not matched

kidd is gonna start at sg where his job will be to stand in his favorite spot and just shoot the open 3s when melo and amare are doubled

Think of it this way for those still freaking out:

Rumors were we wanted Dahntay Jones. Was that about Lin? No.

We are determined to have depth and we were going to use Gadz's expiring to add depth. When Dahntay was off the list, Ray was the next available. Plan B.

Thanks to Daddy Dolan, money is no object.

I don't even like him getting minutes at the 2. Why put the team in a mismatch when you don't have to?

Jamie O'Grady ‏@LoHudKnicks
If Grunwald's MIA-act today was to nab Felton, last decent PG on market, who HOU'd need, sans Lin, then #Knicks GM is straight-up ruthless.

My take as well... but one can't help but think of several other plausible scenarios.

The Felton news coming about an hour after the Fields decision would seem like a big coincidence, however.

Well I guess Baron Davis' 12 month return is not going to be with the Knicks. Another thing to freak out about.

I am staring a thread about it.

I'm just hoping that Lin is back and who cares if Felton is here or not as long as he doesn't cost us any real assets (Shump).

Jeremy Lin in his starts during the month of february averaged 22.5 PPG, 9 Apg, 5.31 turnovers per game

Raymond Felton FOR THE ENTIRE PRE-ALL STAR portion of the season in 2011

averages 17 ppg, 9 apg, 3.3 turnovers per game

54 game sample size vs. a 13 game sample size

HURR DURRR RAYMOND FELTON DOES NEver doe produce like linsnaniity durrr

turd sandwich vs. poop stromboli

neither a good choice, doesn't matter no matter what Kidd will be the PG in the final minutes.
