I'm telling everybody who will listen that Lin is legit. He will not disappoint. Think of how maturely this guy plays ... at 23. And the things he has to work on -- his jumper, changing pace as Kidd said -- easiest things to improve on.
The problem I'm seeing is that what motivation will teams have to take on more salary when they can just leave us in lux tax hell and make extra money for free that way.
Just comes down to $1M per team though. And if they all freeze you out so that you get the tax money, that's collusive and wouldn't be legal.
So on the idea that SOMEONE will take these guys -- and you can't all collude to not take these guys -- you can get teams to bite.
Or is the luxury tax more like $80M? I haven't seen a real read on that.
Dolan has written these big checks before. I doubt he's losing money.
