Bill Bradley wrote:Good for Lin. I wish him well. Glad the Knicks didn't match for Lin's own sake. If you think about it, both Lin and the Knicks benefited from Lin's time in NY. Lin became an instant star and will begin a promising new career in Houston and the Knicks got a playoff appearance, a lucrative TV deal, and a big boost for MSG stock. I'm sure this will go down as one of the worst decisions in Knick history though and I can't wait for this disaster to unfold. I will be rooting hard against the Knicks until Dolan is gone.

Until they start winning

this. why not sign him and then trade him. couldn't we sign him and trade him in January? why get absolutely nothing for both him and fields?

Not only that but cater to a bum like JR freaking Smith. This franchise really ticks me off, man. It's all coming full circle. I don't think Isiah ever left this got forbidden franchise. Grunwald, Woodson, Isiah..all these dudes are close...
remember that dinner?

Isiah is the man behind the curtain..

What are you talking about? JR had nothing to do with this, and he took less money this year, so you can't even blame his contract.

Irony is Lin hired new agent to maximize his marketing in NYC. Instead they helped lead Lin to Houston with revised offer sheet. Amazing.

Shut up Isola.

Is he wrong though? I think it's clear as day that was the reason for not resigning Lin.

I don't like Isola either, but he's right. There had to be more to this than money. All along we said we'd match any offer, and suddenly money is an issue? I don't really buy it.

Just have to say, if the Knicks continue to suck, then all hell will be loose.

Lin is gone, they better start winning games, now..
