I think it also over inflates how good each of those kids is, or potentially under values them (if they don't really get a chance to show all of their abilities in that unselfish system). What UK has is GREAT for Kentucky basketball but I think its hard for scouts to rate these guys accurately. I think Towns has talent, but how good is he really? I'm just not sure, and I don't think we'll know until he plays in the NBA.

I honestly liked that Ulis kid more then anyone else out there (outside of maybe Cauley Stein). I think those Harrison twins aren't even close to pro level guards by any stretch of the imagination.

Exactly why I don't want any part of Towns. Well put.

I agree on the point that alot of these players are being under utilized, there roles dont allow them to showcase their abilities making it difficult to evaluate. I will say Trey Lyles to me is completely flying under the radar. Playing out of position and fits into that category of players not being able to showcase there skills to fit into the system. He should be a lottery pick.

I did like what I saw from Lyles, but yea like you are saying its hard to rate them given their limited roles. I mean I cant blame them its works!!! And if you win a chip everyone on that team gets their value moved up and the whole group benefits together. But the more talented kids, I think they take a bit of a hit because they don't get the touches that Okafor or someone else gets. And its just risky because there are some pretenders on that team and its just a shame they wont shake out until an NBA team takes a chance on them and they turn out to be complete duds. I did like what I saw from lyles, but I'm just afraid of most of their prospects because its just so easy to look good when you are playing with how many other McDonalds all-americans? Things change when you hit the NBA though.

Is he a 6'4 pf too? LOL....

The thing I love about this draft is we essentially have 2 1st rd picks. Our 2nd rounder best case scenario will be the 1st or 2nd pick of the 2nd round so we can come out of the draft with 2 rotation players.
Trust but verify.

Okafor has the best post move I've ever seen on a 19 year old. I'm going to say it, he is far better than Duncan at the same age.

His body back then looked similar to Karl Town's body right now.

The game was played on 3/10/96. Duncan was born on April 25, 1976.
That means that he was 19 in that game. Learn to read, count and comprehend simple data.

Duncan was a 17 year old freshmen and he didn't get red shirted so he started playing right away. Mr Spock quickly starting putting on clinics in a daily fashion. Okafor has one of the better post moves in recent memory for sure, but there's not much competition in the recent decade. Id argue Boogie but at that point it's moot.

Freshmen big men in college who dominate are far and few in between.

Okafor is getting you 20 easy ones a night when he gets to the league on high efficiency shooting and he's got great hands and he is going to be right off the bat a really good passer... you can build around that and it won't even be hard to do it. I said it at the beginning of the college season that he's going to be the clear cut #1 pick at the end of the year going into the draft but I was wrong.. we won't have to wait that long. It doesn't matter who has that number one pick they're picking him, period.

I dont know, I think Philly may take Mudiay, they have 2 bigs they drafted with top picks....they are very guard weak, MCW is not going to be a championship caliber pg....we still have at this point a 20% chance at the top pick...better odds then we've had in years.

Man, it would be a crime to not have this kid playing in the triangle, his game is a perfect fit for our system. Just get him a Horace Grant and some 3D guys on the perimeter. Please let us get lucky for once.
