to recap..
- Melo thought it was done
- 4 team deal parameters are in place
- only "minor" details to be finalized
- 2 close to the situation still thinks it gets done

Mr. Two Yard Line releases an article about how the deal was so close and Melo is upset...I would never have expected this!

He's excited to have a chance at a championship with the Rockets, and now the Knicks have put a pause on trade conversations.

We move Melo when we actually get something from it. If not, let him opt out next year and bounce. I'm not fuqing up the future so that he can leave.

According to a source, Anthony went to the Knicks prior to the NBA Draft and requested a buyout. He was denied, but Jackson said the Knicks would work with Anthony on a trade.

Anthony then agreed to waive his no-trade clause to Houston and Cleveland.

Playing that sucker victim s***? C'mon...don't be THAT guy Melo.
Ridiculous how this is being put on the Knicks when Melo be SHOULD voicing his displeasure towards Morey & HOU for not doing what THEY are supposed to do to make the return palatable. The spin is crazy.

Good thing mills has a brain.

To think that any GM will listen to what Phil Jackson has to say about a player after proving to be a laughing stock as a GM/President is ridiculous. These GM's are very smart people and they don't need to listen to what anyone has to say about a player cause all they're really gonna do is watch tape of Melo to see how he really looked last year or previous years but they definitely aren't gonna go off of what Phil says about him especially knowing that all Phil was doing was trying to push Melo out the door which is why he was sayin g what he said.

GM's are to smart and will do their own homework to come up with their decision of what Melo is.

Of course he is frustrated, anybody would be, but let's not try to pretend he's initiating this attention. Did Melo outright demand a trade this offseason or did someone spend a decent portion of his few press conferences confirming that the Knicks wanted to move on from Melo? We could have just been like any other franchise and kept Melo until we were ready to trade him while shutting TF up. But no, we decide it was a better idea to publicly put our best player on the trade market...fcking Phil. How's that goink?
