Hey man, me and you have gotten into it before for dumb schit. Let’s just root for our team and hope for the best. Everybody hates the Knicks. We should be united as Knicks fans. No bs.

Re: Dennis Smith, Jr. Thread
If DSJ develops a respectable jumpshot with all the work he's put in, then we might have the PG of the future. He's already got the passing skills, the athleticism and the intensity. He becomes a consistent shooter and we have another foundational piece to build around alongside Mitch and Randle (as in productive players). He's borderline untouchable to me if he shows improvement at the FT line and with his jumper.
It's a big season for him. He had health issues as soon as he got traded to the Knicks, but now we're gonna need him to raise his game in his 3rd season. I hope we're all pulling for the kid, y'all know he's our adopted child.

Re: Dennis Smith, Jr. Thread
I'd love to see DSJ take a leap and add a consistent jump shot, but looking at our current players I still think Frank is the best fit in the backcourt with RJ.
Hopefully we see a more developed DSJ this season, but at least we have a young squad that can grow together.

The shot looks ok. It's the FT hitch that needs to be fixed like yesterday. Need him to start hitting at least 70-75% to take advantage of that burst to the rim.

Dennis looks like he's in fantastic shape. Lets hope hes turned a corner on his work ethic. Still has the highest ceiling on the team IMO

Re: Dennis Smith, Jr. Thread
It would be so much if he worked out. He's got the demeanor and talent for it to be a fun career for him in NYC if things click. Regardless of what my brain says about the probabilities of that actually happening in some capacity, my heart is 100% pulling for him.
What's really cool is that the Knicks acquired him when they did because we'll know sooner than later. We didn't have to wait through the first year and a half, and his first full season here will be his third.
