I think will be hard finding a spot in the rotation to Frank if he dont improve his shooting.

As a PG he dont get a chance with Irving and Dennis.

As a wing, he will fight for playing time against Dotson, Trier and Knox. And perhaps Culver or Barret.

yeah but that doesn't answer my question. Which is who can replace him at the same salary or lower...

There are more players than are on your list Stanley Johson is another one. I don't have to do anything more than I've already done. You all can choose which players that suit your needs. The answer is subjective and will change based on who answers the question. I proved my point already. It isn't hard to replace Franks current team production.

You're not answering our question, stop deflecting. I want you to tell me who that player is. I don't need to choose, you do.

Kadeen Allen?

No upside but plays defense today and can score today and can pass today. Just saying. I'm willing for Frank to be able to do all those things and more but let's not get cocky as if it can't be arranged, especially on a team who once they add talent won't value futures as much as they will sure things.

Frank's got lots work to do. I look forward to it.

such as who? Frank makes just 4.1 mill a year. Who do you think we can get for 4 mil that is a good wing defender and is available? Im genuinely curious.

I haven't looked at who the free agents are yet. First it depends on what position you consider Frank. It won't be difficult to replace the 78th rated point guard in defensive plus minus that averages 5.7 points a game with 33.7 percent shooting. At less than 4,855,800.

You really can't be that serious. I'm sure you could find a couple yourself.

Could you please list them? people who can guard 3~4 positions like frank. Who are still only 20 and has room to grow into a better shooter.

This dude gets asked the same question 50 times and still can't answer even that "it won't be difficult". He's proven all he's needed to prove fellas -> that he is a troll.

Id say we have to keep one of DSJ or Frank. Especially considering our we will be right up against the cap if we sign 2 maxes and we'll need guys who we can go over the cap to resign via bird rights in the coming years.

DSJ and Kyrie's skills overlap imo and I dont think DSJ is the type to stay happy behind Kyrie. Frank is consumnate pro so far and I think his game compliments Kyrie and vice versa , so I think Frank is a no brainer keep around

I agree in theory, but:

1) Two coaches already didnt recongized Franks value for the team and didnt give him enough playing time in a really bad Knicks team. They prefer Gleague players. The current coach dont trust the kid. This a major red flag. And Frank is a well liked hardworking kid. I dont think is a personal issue.

2) Irving only will comitt with the Knicks next season. We cant count on him now. I dont see us trading Dennis this season at least if we dont get another PG at the draft.

3) Dennis has value. If we dont get a lottery pick offer, I dont see selling him. I dont know about Franks value.

Clifford made a pretty interesting point about this in his post game presser.

“We have length and we have versatility. There’s a lot of defensive possessions we don’t have to be perfect and we still stay out of rotations. It helps a lot.”

Turn Dotson into a stopper. He won't be as good defensively and he will be better offensively. But you can do it with young rookies and G-League guys.
