Evidently this video is from 2019 and the man is NOT an FBI agent, but was hassled by the cops because they mistakenly thought he was a man they had an arrest warrant for. The dynamic between the police and the man speaks for itself, but the context is not what it is being widely purported to be (if you trust Reuters).

Right but whatever he had as ID, I need one of those...he verbally chopped the starch out of their collars, and all they could do was stand there, looking as he said, "stupid"(amongst other things).

So, I'm out in Iowa for work and obviously people are going to talk about the protests and riots. The people I am currently working with here are from Iowa and Wisconsin. They have claimed that protesters are going around throwing rocks through windows of homes flying the American flag where they live.

Just a few hours ago I was on the phone with another coworker from Jersey and he said the same thing. This prompted me to do a quick Google search and I have yet to see anything on this. Can anyone confirm this claim to be true or is this just b.s. propaganda circulating around?

Thanks for the info. I figured as much, and it's good that an actual reliable source made that statement. I wanted to say something, to my coworkers but didn't want paint a target on my back without fact checking first. I am a long way from home, tensions are high and i'm the only minority on site. Might just be paranoia but I don't want to put myself in a bad spot.

I got a lifetime ban from tsherkin for going off on police. Actually, he PM’d about a comment I posted on police which he didn’t agree with. So I told him to stick it. Then he banned me.

But I hear tsherkin is gone and we’re still here!

I forget the topic but it was police related. I'm thinking it was Trayvon. The thread became more general we began discussing the police/racism, etc. I made a point based on my prior knowledge and experience. There was probably some back and forth that got a little heated but that was it. I then get a private message from tsherkin in which he warns me that if I engage similar conduct in the future he'll ban me. I don't recall the specifics but it was something like that. Unfortunately, I took the bait and just let him have it. "Who are you to tell me what I can say ..." "Fck you, ...." "Do yuou know who I am?"

Then I get a total ban from everything. So I can't seem to get through on my other computers. I rejoin using the username "Mindaugus" And left a thread say "Hey, it's Wingo, send HELP!!!!!!" Then Knickstape1214, Capn'O, and even GONYK went to bat for me. Oh and someone put up a "Free Wingo" thread. But I still can't get back on that CA forum. Probably for the better. I like it right here just fine.

The whole Knicks mod team had a bit of an uprising and it led to site wide changes. Board bans rather than nuclear bans were a result as well as revised policy on catchall boards.
