It's never hey we need a playmaker who can get in the lane and break the down the defense. There always has to be a connection. It's dumb af and really annoying. And it's been every front office not just this one.

I don't think this is it. We picked up a young versatile forward that can definitely be part of our core and future moving forward. We did show strong interest at the draft in Chris Duarte who offers much of the same things that Reddish does. Lanky, athletic wing who can cover multiple positions defensively while at the same time can also put the ball on the floor and make plays and hit outside shots.

We do have a lot of versatility now especially our young core but yes we are still missing a floor general to string it all together. Hopefully that's not something the FO ignores for much longer

the price we paid for the return is worthy of praise. i don't think most fans are acting like we just transformed our contention prospects. just a nice move with upside during a bleak time for the team

If they want Cam to get minutes, somebody's gonna have to play less or get traded.

Maybe it's Obi. Maybe it's Grimes. Maybe it's Fournier. Maybe it's IQ. Someone's gonna lose.

The most far-fetched scenario is they're thinking of selling high on RJ, but that seems unlikely.

You can pretty much make a connection to any player or agent or college or whatever if you try hard enough. There are basketball reasons why we’d want a 3 and D wing with upside. The fans draw the connections after the fact and most the time it’s baseless

How was reddish's value that low? We still get another season to give him run and he's an RFA. I would've been pissed if Grimes went in the deal. Grimes is always ready to shoot, plays hard and is decent defensively for a rookie. That hornets pick was weak to begin with so i'm glad we're not holding on to it. Getting some value for knox after such a blown pick is nice too. Great move by leon.

Probably because he’s shooting 38% and 32% from 3 on his career with more turnovers than assists (174 to 160) and his advanced stats are diarrhea. But he’s shown some flashes at least

He has 40.2 / 37.9 (on 4.5 attempts per game) / 90.2 splits this season. Considering the logjam they had his overall production isn't bad for 23 MPG. And yes i see the terrible on/off. Hawks would've been wise to trade him for the 13th pick if it really was available. I'm obviously not complaining tho.
