Funniest part is that fans will be back in force if/when Thibs manages to sneak into the 10-seed Play-In. Leon is banking on it because Julius would be forgiven and Wally could get on the airwaves talking about “the Knicks are back!” And espn can pump out clickbait about this, that, and the other free agent wanting to come here next summer.

This team gives any fan worth his salt at least half a dozen times a year where you really question your life choices. WTF is wrong with us?

While this is entirely possible, I just don’t see us getting the 10th seed. None of the teams above us are tanking except Wizards. We will probably only pass them

Exactly. Brunson is more of a 6th man combo guard. We'll be welcoming him in as the starting PG and pegging him as "guy that will lead us out of 2+ decades of misery". Then when that fails... Well we know how this will likely end.

they are lucky they are on the road tonight...there would be some amazing chants if this team was getting blown out.

Disagree with you there...I think he's under the radar like Van Fleet IMO.

Gravy wrote:Well... I await the 8th pick. Enjoy watching starting pg Alec Burks and seeing if Cam will get 10 minutes once in a while, as we play boring tedious ball on the way to the 5th worst record then move down 3 spots on lotto day!

It's torture to watch. :banghead:

If the "vets" played with energy and pace, ball and player movement, the games would be watchable.

The patented Randle/Burks low energy, walk the ball up the court as slowly as possible to face a set defense...then "attack" the defense with a weak iso or chuck low quality 3's with only 2 players touching the ball any given possession. It is disgusting and unbearable to watch. :-?

Only OKC is worse in assists per game :nonono:

Oh you’re probably right, but that won’t stop them from force-feeding Randle in the desperate hope that he returns to last year’s form for 20 games. It’s going to be all iso-Randle with the 2-man Fournier game with iso-Rose off the bench. If those two start cooking AND Mitch stays healthy, MSG might just get lucky.

I mean how pathetic is it to bring in the goalposts to the 10 seed and STILL fail?
