Also bad that we went up 5 in OT and choked again. Brunson is doing far too much

That’s another sign of Thibs being absentee on crucial action items

...If Thibs gets more creative defending Maxey, i.e., more Deuce and less DD coverage, and more of our shots start falling. I think both those things are very likely. We are very fortunate that Embiid is at 50% at best, just keep doing the same thing on him that we did last night, and play with more poise. I think both teams will be desperate unlike last night.

Got the order wrong w Mitch foul (stupid) and no foul on inbounds. (Stupid)
Why was Mitch even next to the 3 pt line? Stupid.

Fouling there is easier said than done. Maxet is really fast and he can see the foul coming and try and throw something at the hoop and then everyone would be complaining why we put Maxey to the line to tie it up. I agree that ideally we should have fouled but I just don't know if it's that simple. It's not NBA 2K where are you press a button and you get the automatic intentional foul.

What are you even talking about? Maxey isn't The Flash or some kind of marvel mutant.

The ball was inbounded on the opposite side of the Court to EMBIID, not Maxey.....

No Knicks players rushed to foul the inbound pass recipient.. everyone ran the OPPOSITE way.

You foul AS SOON AS the ball is inbounded.

You're telling me you couldn't foul here? Be for real. They obviously had the order to just play...

Thibs was calling to foul , the players even said it was communicated to foul, Deuce must of not heard it. For all the big shots he made Deuce had a few blunders on defense last night

If we lose the series, Thibs is gone and DDV, Mitch, and Randle will be put on the block for upgrades.

I'll be broken if we lose game 7. But not there yet. Hopefully the team is ready to get back to work, too.

Dang...that's rough.

Its strange because there was zero pressure on the inbounds pass, no one went for the steel/foul, nothing.

Just let the Sixers casually inbound and saunter up the court to take a 3.

not overconfident but i’m confident, we beat ourselves… this series should be over. this team will bounce back and adjust, they have too much heart not to

Sixers fan rightfully said we had a miracle game 1 (Hart the 3pt specialist) AND game 2 (MIRACLE ending.)

I’ve lost all trust in Thibs which is why I’m expecting a game 7 series loss, barring another “miracle” from someone.

Oddly I don’t care that much. I hope we still win the series (and honestly still fairly confident we will close it out) and it would mean a lot to win a series in back to back seasons but I don’t honestly believe this team as currently constructed can go all the way. So eventually we will have to eat a painful series loss. Hopefully it’s in round two or three instead of this series but I’m mentally prepared for the season to end eventually. Now the team has to find a way to put this behind them and move on and fans need to find a way do the same.

Still trying to to figure out why Thibs didn't put OG on Embiid or play Precious. I'm looking through all the post game notes and videos and not a single mention of it. These Knicks beat writers are trash and afraid to ask the relevant questions. Bojan out and you can't come up with 10-12 mins for Precious? Is he injured? I can't get over this.

Knicks shot below 30% from three, below 70% from the free throw line, and lost the rebound battle. It still took a God-tier effort from Maxey, a bunch of unlikely errors from the Knicks in the clutch, and overtime for Philly to win.

I'm pissed we lost, but I still feel good about closing out the series. I just wish they'd gotten extra rest...and I'm kinda tight Precious didn't get rewarded for his effort last game. Even if it was just to buy Hart five minutes to catch his breath, Precious earned a few minutes.

No bro, don’t you get it? If someone gets injured the rotation gets shorter.

All this ‘depth’ just to not play anyone at all is pathetic. Thibs is his own worst enemy at the end of the day.
