Yup, even RJ supporters are happy with OG and the trade. Thank you RJ and IQ for being valuable enough to get a player like OG and Leon for making it happen.

You proactively implied that RJ and Randle's contributions were on par, and suggested that we got OG thanks to RJ.

I find it entirely disingenuous on your part.

Randle was a much, much better player than RJ for us. And IQ was the centerpiece of the OG trade.

You're just being dishonest here, sorry for calling you out on that but let's call it what it is.

The comparison I made is that both were traded and we got better players. That is a fact. Nothing dishonest or false there. I wasn’t even talking about who is better or contributed more. Randle was better, but to be fair RJ did play better than Randle in the playoffs if we are going there.

Is KAT better than Randle, yes or no.

Admit you were wrong about RJ first. You tryna fight your way around the bush when we haven’t gotten any admissions from the barbz yet!

OG is better, I am grateful we have him instead of RJ.

This thread didn't exist when RJ was traded for OG, because we're all good with it and realize OG is better. This thread is to drive home the point that KAT is better than Randle, and we won that trade, let's not lose sight of that.

I'll stop posting here when the white flag is waved on Randle, because it should have been weeks ago, just like it was on RJ for OG.

All of the barbs skated. Rj is buns. Boring as hell to watch hoop and a loser. Always has been and always will be. But none of them admitted it.

The best thing hell ever do in his career is be part of the trade that brought us OG.

Well and help the Raps lose games. That's enjoyable too.

Nobody crashed out over RJ, team villain literally imploded on itself leaving behind this thread which is the black hole to catch all the whining about KAT in its event horizon. I went full Neil DeGrasse Tyson on this one, my game is robust.

I liked and argued for RJ, then I stopped when we got OG, because he's better. My only concerns with OG were health, outside of that I'm good. So good in fact if you go back, you'll see I wanted RJ traded if it meant Randle was traded after, my disdain for Randle's game is that pure. I got what I wanted, which is KAT, so this is a victory lap and I want the focus on Randle where it belongs. Because Randle is why this thread is here.

We all have our own agenda. I'm here for the "Sh**posts".

What I'll never understand is how barbs never saw the similarities to Randle and rj. Rj was basically temu Randle. Their games were so similar. Even down to the selfishness and bad attitude. Rj sulked on the bench when he was pulled in the 4th quarter. Prolly murdered kittens after not scoring 20ppg too. But that's not confirmed.

Like you I'm just glad they're both gone. Leon massively upgraded our basketball viewing enjoyment by shipping em both tf outta here.

Right but that’s not what Chanel is saying. He’s not saying RJ had no value. He’s saying IQ was the cornerstone of the trade, which he was. You can also see by the way the Raps paid him after the season.

Nothing new considering Chanel has been saying this since 500 B.C.

Hehe my fault. I missed a key word “not.”

But yea, I’d also agree with Chanel on this. IQ still has more value than RJ and he did when we moved him for OG.

When we moved RJ, he still hadn’t taken the offensive leap he had with the Raptors and he was a bad fit with Randle. Didn’t hurt he had Canadian roots, but I’d still argue that IQ was the main piece in the deal.

Randle career winning percentage: 43%
RJ career winning percentage: 46%

Another point for the barbs!

So, you're saying the gap between Randle and KAT is smaller than the one that exists between RJ and OG? Are you implying that KAT isn't better than Randle? I mean, I don't want to put words in your mouth, but it seems like you don't want to say KAT is better than Randle. I mean I've already admitted Mikal AND OG are better and I'm happy with the outcome, are you happy with KAT being here instead of Randle? I love this team, do you?

We stood side by side at the battle of Karl Towns gully, my jacket is stamped. I am on record saying the wings we have are better than RJ, I have yet to see my brother Melo say KAT is better than the frontcourt player he replaced (NOT MITCH or IHART, the bum PF)

The thing is, a lot of fans, myself included, will give guys more leniency when they're drafted by the team. That's why RJ despite being very similar to Randle got more leeway, because we hoped he would develop out of it. Randle was who he was, after 3 or 4 years with the team it was clear he wasn't gonna fix his deficiencies

For the most part. I never liked Obi as a prospect

I just find it's more fun to root for young guys to develop and play well for the team in the future than to root for them to suck because I'm pushing an agenda. Like, how great would it be if Dadiet and Kolek were good? That would solve almost all of our depth issues and make us a better team. I'm not gonna root for them to suck because I like Brunson and Mikal/OG and I would feel threatened by them, that would be ridiculous.

Folks who supported RJ wish him well in his travels, but currently have their eyes on a Knicks championship this year led by the best defender in the NBA, OG Anunoby, clamping down Adam Silver's favorite "stars".

Randle fans are anxiously waiting to press the "Wolves won the trade" button, praying the Knicks somehow implode and go on a catastrophic losing streak let by a KAT slump.

We are not the same.

Wish all the former Knicks well, but I’m more than happy with having OG/KAT/Mikal instead. They’re better players and a better fit than any of RJ/Randle/IQ. Simple as that.

This. Knicks are better off without RJ. I was wrong about RJ being a big part of the Knicks future. I am happier today with OG than RJ (always loved getting OG tho). How hard was that?

Can a Randle fan do that? Unlikely. He would most likely deflect and pivot to something else.

Knicks won the trade, Leon is a serial fleecer.
