we haven't had a great, hell even a good, pg in over 30+ years and we're nitpicking Brunson.

we aren't a serious bunch

It's an honest criticism. I think stuff like that isn't bad to point out, but I look moreso towards players' strengths than their weaknesses because there's not much that can be done to fix them. These guys are all in their primes.

As long as Hart keeps playing like Scottie Pippen/Grant Hill we’re good pg wise

i'm sitting here watching this ad over and over on an illegal stream cause i'm too cheap to buy cable or LP and wondering who are these people.

$200 just disappearing or used an example of food service for an ex. excuse me my exes could starve before I would drop 200 a month on them.

world has changed on me

Boomer discourse about avocado toast really warped a lot of people’s minds. There’s just a lot of people that are really bad with their money. I see this in Twitter discourse all the time, where people think they need cars that cost them 1400 a month. Or I have a buddy from college that built a massive credit card debt cuz he won’t buy groceries and buys cheese burgers and tall boys everyday. Scaling back on treats won’t make it easier for millennials or gen z buy houses but it could stop them from using rocket money to keep track of their finances.

yeah, it's not even jsut millenials or gen z - i see the way some of my coworkers live and I can't afford that sht. well maybe if I didn't put anything in my 401k. but i'm not trying to work forever.

though on the flip side we can't take it with us when we die and my kids talk a lil too much sht for me to leave em a big pile so I'm going to enjoy this ride a lil bit. it's a balance.

I feel that. Just as many people are bad with money there’s ppl really hurting. my son is 9 months old and my wife wants another one. Sure having another ankle biter is really going to drain my funds

for sure but we also didn't watch jKidd for years we've had some of the worst pg play imaginable. hell we recently watched elfrid payton and then they brought him back for another year. we've been in hell here. so if brunson struggles a lil to make a post entry pass - idgaf. he just dropped 55 and has lead us to the playoffs. i'm good.

yo, congrats on becoming a father! hope he is healthy and happy. the financial burden of supporting a kid can weigh heavy. I'm try to remind myself that i'm fortunate to be where i'm at in that regards cause like you said a lot of dads aren't. i've also learned throughout the years that that is just a small part of being a dad. there are so many joys to come in your life - truly congrats.
