Not a single player looks over at the bench. There is not even an attempt to ask Thibs what to do. JB first goes to inbound the ball, the players talk it over and then decide Mikal should inbound the ball. They setup a beautiful curl play to get JB free driving to the hoop. I know they practice these players during practice but the fact they didn't want or need any type of direction or confirmation from Thibs speaks volumes.

Am I reading too much into this or does this reiterate the fact that Thibs sucks at in game situations and his own players don't even trust his guidance?!

Yes brother yes Thibs sucks, we win cuz of talent, lose cuz of him, it's starting to get real old....

I'm confused. the 2 minute report cited 2 errors. Neither of them being the last shot. Does this mean the refs are saying they would have made the wrong call?

Instead we have the dude who runs a Brunson isolation out of a timeout in crunch time.

Everything we get is from pure talent on the floor. Any coach would get the same results, if not better.

This is getting f*cking exhausting man, what is wrong with a Brunson iso out of a timeout in crunch time? The man is one of if not the most clutch players. It has gotten beyond ridiculous.

Nice job, you've missed the point entirely.

You can get a Brunson iso literally any time down the floor. Coming out of a timeout, an opportunistic coach will actually run a well-rehearsed play designed to get an easy basket or a favorable scenario. Not just put it in the hands of his hobbled star and make him work hard for it. It's the opposite of inspired.

I won't apologize for expecting more from a coach with as much experience as Thibs has. It's flat out lazy, and puts limits on this team's ceiling.

They know what he's going to say, just like the defense knows what we are gong to do. Good thing we have near-unstoppable offensive players in Brunson and Towns to bail him out.

Look how timmy went up for that shot. Foh, with asking for a foul. He was flopping. Foul baiting. Disgraceful.

He kicked the leg sideways! He didn't even try to make the shot. He should have been kicked out of the game post mortem on general principle. GTFO with that weak **** that's why we had to bring your son of a bastard ass back so we could get rid of you twice. **** the Pistons. **** Tim Hardaway Jr. **** his dad. This has been my TED talk. Good night!!!

Pistons will cry about the non call to everyone that will listen, refs might make game 5 even more one sided. I’m sure we all remember the bull in Philly last year with Embiid, even had silvers alien looking ass in the stands and nothing happened. Robinson got his ankle pulled off and nothing happens. That’s how I expect us to get treated in the playoffs. We are just gonna have to grind it out.

For everyone thinking we can beat Boston because of what the magic are doing it makes no sense to me, the magic are playing top notch defense from possession to possession and we don’t do that. If we somehow could play comparable defense though we could win a tough series against them.

It makes no sense to me that beating a team that is struggling with the Magic makes no sense to you :D

Lmao I guess you just don’t know ball then? But in reality being 3-1 on someone isn’t really “struggling”. And in another realm of reality we don’t play defense like the magic do, this isn’t last years team.
