Forgetting about the position we're in with him wanting to come to NY, how is that even close to enough? Aren't those the same 3 guys this board gets on the regular basis? Smh.

You're not supposed to mention his actual numbers. It makes certain people uncomfortable.

He's 4-13 now and he's the only one who can shoot that poorly and still look good doing it. His team is winning, and he has 4 rebounds and 4 assist to end the half. We've seen Carmelo light this team up earlier in the season. Are we now going to bring up what he's doing on the game by game basis when there is a Around The NBA game thread? Are we going to doubt his ability to score? Haha. Ridiculous. I'll be sure to quote this post when he finishes the game with 25+ points, 8 rebounds, 5 assist, on something close to 50% shooting. Haha.

All NBA Team 3 times
All Star 3 Times

But he's not that good. We're here talking about how great out season has been and we're 2 games above .500. We're talking about how the Nuggets are so bad and Carmelo is so garbage, but his team is 24-17 with numerous injuries and supposedly distracted...Carmelo really sucks...

Calm down man . Does your Melo fanboy alarm go off whenever somebody doesnt s*ck him off?

We're better with Melo. Everyone knows it. Duetta knows it. The point is getting him at the best price. Not being a desperado. Stop being such a diva. Im just f*ckin around.

I'm listening to ESPN 1050 and that guy Jon rothstein is a tool. He said the Knicks don't need Carmelo and all they need is a SG who can knock down mid range jumpshots. He also said Chicago offer of Deng and Gibson can beat any Knick trade package we got. Also he said if Chicago rents Melo, Carmelo will resign 100% for sure. What a tool!

Can already start to see the people that will be on Melo the first off game he has if we're lucky enough to land him... just like people on Chandler and Gallo

The funny thing is you have guys like Truewarrior who claims he doesn't mind getting Carmelo, but every post he makes about Melo is an indication that he doesn't like him and he wants him to play horrible. That way if he come here he can do the ITOLDYOUSO routine.

Know this. All of this discussion about Carmelo isn't happening because he's a scrub.

I want Melo, bad shot selection, inefficient scoring, not making teammates better and all.

I just don't want to overpay for him when we have leverage.

Losing sucks, but you have to be objective.
Poor play plagues every team at least a few times a season.

An inflated knee jerk reaction trade for Melo will not fix this team. Sure, it may help, but it's not the solution(DW knows this)

PS: I do want Melo (at the right price, considering our leverage)

PPS: whoever wants Billups over Felton needs to put down the pipe.

He's Marbury with a head-band and without the clubhouse cancer quality. He's an elite physical talent who ultimately underachieves.

Chicago wouldn't have to rent Melo.

He would most likely resign there which is true but no way they can pull off a good offer.

I disagree with most of the post in what you said the guy Rothstein said, but I kind of agree with the bold. Melo would make this team better, but a shooting guard like he described such as Mayo would do wonders for this team.

JR is a complete idiot. ive been listening to him too... he says we need a Ray Allen or Allan Houston in his prime, shooter.... yeah okay, so how does that help us... do we have a time machine? Guy also doesn't seem to understand that Melo can force his way here... he thinks since 'Denver doesn't like out assets' ONLY way we're getting him is FA..... been saying it for months, he's an idiot... he doesn't think Melo is what we need, yet he says Gasol is the key.... who won't be available

Mayo will not make us a elite team. Carmelo will

I don't way Mayo under any circumstances. He's an average basketball player with a sub-par attitude.
