once melo officially rejects NJN, donnie will shove chandler + pick down Denvers throat because melo's value will become next to nothing.

guys, the best play for us is to actually hope a deal gets done between denver and NJ. then it's all in melo's hands as it should be. if he wants to go to NJ, so be it. the best play is for melo to reject NJ and have him come to us.

ESPN reporting via Al Iannazzone (Nets beat writer for The Record) that Nets and Nuggets have a tentative agreement based on Melo agreeing. Is this news?

If he does happen to reject the Nets -- and I'm skeptical that he will -- then I'd make a final offer of Bill Walker, a second round pick, Eddy Curry and a bag of Eddy Curry's regurgitated lunch.

Saying he doesn't know why Melo would extend there because they don't matter - saying they could win 5 championships and they still won't matter. Said the Knicks are the Knicks and Nets are the Nets and that will never change, even in BK.
