There was never a potential return with Thabeet. He has no talent.

there are things that can be taught. He has size and some athleticism. Why not bring him in with a minimum deal. Because he sucks? Sure but he has some potential. We kept Andy Rautins a whole year and he had no potential.

Hence me calling Thabeet the Andy Rautins of centers on the first page of this very thread. Every second either of them is being paid by an NBA team is a second they don't deserve.

and thank god for that. lmao.

just saying hes not going to do any damage being the 15th man. He has some potential, so no reason not to bring him in.

Theres BJ Mullens, Daniel Orton, Hassan Whiteside, etc. that are on NBA rosters. They are valuable to keep around. Why not give it a shot? Because you dont believe in him?

I know they all suck, but the point is you get a big with potential. Teams keep them on their roster for a reason.

True

Plus, I don't think we'd even look at him. So it's all moot.

Honestly I dont think he makes it past the amnesty bids. Some sucky team will make a minimum bid on him.

I see, peeps on this board think they're cool by right away dismissing certain prospects that haven't paned out. They think people will believe they're experts or something.

Can't teach size or heart. We know he has the size, i'd bring him in to see if he has the heart.
