i hate to say it but ... sign me up!

his injury history ... his age ... his HORRENDOUS defense ... it will all just get worse with time. we have to move him now while he still has star value. we can just chalk the ineffectiveness up to him not "meshing" with the rest of the crew. :lol:

honestly, any value right now would be good. they would have smaller contracts and they would allow us room to maneuver next year and the year after that. having all this money tied up in a player who REFUSES to move his feet on defense is downright SCARY!

2 assists and 9 turnovers on the year and shooting 40% from the field and is the worst defensive PF in the league and on a max contract. It will be hard to move him IMO.

we have a star in the making in shumpert who also passes to teammates. we have a star in melo who can score at will. all we need is a distributing PG who can keep the defense honest by scoring and a big man who can post up and defend. we can move amare for one if not both of those.

People stop blaming Amare for a poor team defensive effert tonight. You can blame Douglas, Fields & Melo bad defense, just as much as you can blame Amare lack of D tonight. How about the Toronto L, should we also blame that on Amare also?

Amare was beyond awful today. He had Diaw and Mullens just killing him out there. Fields was also bad I think Henderson was like 10-13. Those two guys were beyond terrible....

People dont realize he has no value...If teams didnt want to give him the contract we gave him, why would they take on that contract and give up assets. LOL at the Scola and Lowry proposal, u really think Houston would do that.

we couldn't get scola AND lowry, but maybe scola and one of their younger, less promising guys. the thing is, luis is 31.

It was a monumental blunder by Grunwald to use our amnesty provision on an expiring contract in Billups rather than pocketing it and saving it for when Stat becomes useless (hey, we may have used it this offseason).

The one thing that has always annoyed me about Amare is his fake hustle. He is an extremely stupid defensive player. Just mind-bogglingly dumb, especially on the screen and roll He has no concept on how to hedge a screen correctly, and as such the guard always gets into the lane at will.

I'm no Knick fan, but didn't he just come of an injury? I would assume he's going to be bit out of it for a couple of games. Plus I think its be known for years, he's no defensive guru, so not sure what the big surprise is here.
