What's pitiful is an organization that has had more resources then almost every team in the nba-yet for over forty years cant win a championship. I spend time, money, and put my heart into this team-since 93-don't try to tell me about "fandom"

Enough is enough... I will finally make the Knicks accountable if they f-up a move that would have not only given us the chance at having another player with potential for greatness. Not to mention the chance to build the Knick brand globally...

Fandom, in 2012 is nothing like it use to be...

I'm a Knicks fan: Not a Lin stan, not an Amare stan, not a Melo stan, or not a d*ck riding NY (Brooklyn) stan.

The point isn't about Lin

It's about Folan making terrible decisions and not learning from his mistakes

Lin was gifted to us on a platter

And if we screw it up because of Dolan it will be irreversible damage

With or without Lin, I believe this team will still make GREAT strides this season.

Done with the Knicks?

Are you nuts? I really hope Lin comes back but I'm not going to lose sleep over it if the contract is not matched.

The thought of losing Lin upsets me.

But if I can survive the Layden and Isiah era, I can certainly survive this.

Lin shouldn't have signed the offersheet if he really wanted to play in ny.

yeah, this would be very distressing

letting d'antoni, gallo, lin, jeffries, and walsh go in favor of woodson, melo, felton, half the naacp, andj.r. smith might just be too much for me

i don't know if i can take the team moving away from that 2010 team that was built under a cohesive point of view and had upside in favor of an ill-fitting mess.

And why is 8 million a year for Lin such a horrible deal that Dolan should now, for the first time ever, decide he won't pay a little extra? What was his breaking point with Lin? 6 mil? He could have made up that money in other contracts eaily
Other then Amare, who wasnt that bad of a contract and mandatory to get to start the process of getting other stars, who is a bad contract?
Carmelo for one. The last 10 years most contracts we have given out were unwarranted and idiotic and before you say well that has nothing to do with the current regime, well Dolan has been here for that long and he signs off on it. It's every stupid move he has made since he has gotten to play with this 'toy' that daddy bought for him that has gotten us to this point.

As long as Dolan is the owner and surrounding himself with Isiah and his people, we will never see a championship.

1. Lin isnt gone yet..wait till its official before you over react

2. How do you stick with the Knicks during Isaiah, Marbury, Curry, Larry Brown, Mike Sweeney, Jordan Hill, Tracy McGrady, but THIS is the final straw?

I'm not going to stop being a fan but to say I am disillusioned is an understatement. For those that have had enough finally, I understand them. We thought they'd finally turned things around and were running things the right way and then poor little Dolan's ego was hurt and lets him make another piss poor decision. We finally have players that are easy to root for on this team (Chander/Shump/Lin in particular) and boom, forget that, let's bring back some guy who only plays and stays in shape when he is in a situation he likes and isn't even that good or in shape in those situations. Enough is enough. Also, I honestly still believe IT is involved with this behind the scenes. If it ever comes out that this is true, I'd never watch a Knicks game again as long as Dolan is the owner. Finally, and most notably, the NBA as a whole is becoming nauseating. Forget players running the sport, now it's sports agencies. Really a terrible league to be a fan of at this point with our tam being one of the poster children for what is wrong with the league.

Hope y'all go root for the Nyets get the fu*k out of here trying to defend why you wanna be done with the Knicks. Just be done with it already, nobody cares about you or your bullish*t excuses. Using Lin, who most realistic Knicks don't even believe will be a all star, is the reason to stop rooting.

Fu*k you & anybody who believes in the same sentiments, kick rocks bit*hes. We remember posts & we remember usernames, fu*k outta here, real talk.

the best part of Lin not being signed is hopefully we are able to rid of some of these fake fans.

Honestly though I think most will end up staying with the team. Its like those gamers that rage when they lose but still continue to play. It is child-like that people become irrational and make decisions based solely on anger instead of thinking before they act. After they get their emotions in check it they come back and its "I was just mad back then." Rinse and repeat instead of maturing into an adult.

also I am certain that some of these votes are from non-knicks fans coming to this board to read and laugh.
