They could be good in like 2 years.

Jrue is the only one who has range on his jumper...that team can be zoned up easily.

Edit -- nvm. Forgot that Bynum can shoot threes.

Yeah they gonna have to replace Young for a better shooter. But I like the potential of Holiday, Turner, Harkless, and Bynum. It's a start.

Think they could sign Harden to the max next summer and resign Bynum to max. Nick young and Dorrell wright are actually capable shooters.

Ill Will seems like odd man out..

Nuggets have no idea what they are doing honestly. They sign Nene to a long term deal then trade him away for Mcgee who they give a deal to. Ill Will after getting paid probably going to leave soon now with Iggy stepping in. There is always so much turnover on that roster. I really dont see the vision.

It's called retaining assets. Even if a player isn't necessarily going to be apart of your long term plans, re-signing them to a fair market value deal that is easily tradeable is never a bad move. Especially when the alternative is letting them walk away for nothing. Plus, everyone says Denver will never be able to sign a star player in free agency, so cap space doesn't do a lot of good anyway. It makes more sense to stockpile talent for future trades then to let guys like Nene and Chandler walk without compensation. And I fail to see how flipping Nene/Chandler for Iggy/McGee would be a bad tradeoff as well.

+1

Thats exactly what they should do

But they want a guy to build around with after Kobe is done. Neither Andrew or Pau is that guy.

It's not a bad, it's just a treadmill type move.

doesn't improve, or kill.

i don't think they're making the playoffs right now. 2 more weeks to the season last year and the bucks make it instead of them.

Pau and Bynum make 35 million combined. Howard makes 19. So the lakers are going to have to take back another contract or contracts. The question is who? If its junk fillers I would leave the deal alone.

Adding Bynum to Brand, Speights and Lou Williams is gonna make them a powerhouse in the east!

I mean if they let those guys walk for nothing and were relying on Thadius Young and Dru Holiday as their leaders with Bynum who's always getting hurt and acting immature then they'd be in trouble but obviously that'll never happen.

After reading the first two lines of your post, I was going to ask you if you've been hibernating the last year and missed out on basketball news lol. I wonder if they'll let him get away for parking in handicapped spots in Philly...hmm..

But seriously, that team will have serious issues if a team decides to zone them up.

they were a pretty terrible shooting team with Lou Will and Iggy, without them .... oh my

Yeah the were definitely sliding, they caught the perfect storm though.

That won't be in their favor this year.
