Then why is he doing a craptastic job coaching in LA? Why was he doing a craptastic job as a coach here?

D'Antoni is a top 5 coach...from the bottom.

Good coaches don't force big men who are not good three point shooters to become three point shooters. Good coaches run set plays out of timeouts. Good coaches encourage, not throw their players under the bus. Good coaches don't lose six straight games and then quit, only to have another coach win seven straight afterwards with the same roster.

Woodson's performance this year is essentially showing just how "good" of a coach D'Antoni is..and by "good", I mean bad.

LA doesn't have a great roster but no way should they lose the way they are right now. I am not seeing any type of plan. Seems to me they are just free-styling on the court.

LA has won 3 in a row. The roster issue is that they have terrible players for depth. Each injury is a huge issue for them, while a team like Knicks has talent all the way to our last man on the bench.

There are fundamental principles of his "system" that I like, and I think they would work on a Championship level. Let's keep it real, we're seeing a lot of those principles at work in our current team. Woodson, unlike D'Antoni, can actually LEARN from others.

Anyway, my point is that this is RIDICULOUS. The quotes are just on a completely different level. I honestly never thought it would come to Gasol taking more 3s. That's just ludicrous. As many others have said, I'm glad he's not our problem anymore...

This guy agrees.

The reactions/expressions on the other guys in this pic is also interesting. You got the fat redheaded guy in the 1st row apparently dozen off, Carmelo with the raised arm signaling the 3, Herb Williams "damn straight" expression with the fist pump and Roger Hinds apparently pondering about what they are having for dinner.

They won 3 in a row, great. But that is a misleading three. Who did they beat?
Lets see
1) Wizards - Worst team in the league.
2) Philly - No Jrue Holiday which is their best player. He was out that game. They started Nick Youn, J Rich at guards. THEY DIDNT HAVE A FREAKING PG TO RUN THE OFFENSE.
3) Bobcats - They basically had to play their hardest to beat a team that has lost 13 straight.

You keep thinking Pringles is a good coach though.
