If the Clippers acquire Kevin Garnett they will perhaps have one of the best rosters ever assembled in the history of professional basketball. Their frontcourt would be very difficult for any team in the western conference to sustain. I would hate to be the team that faces them in a seven game series.

Mentioned this before...both the Clippers and the Thunder could put themselves over the top by acquiring Garnett. And both teams are in rare air among title contenders in actually having assets that would work if the Celtics go rebuild. Clippers have Bledsoe and Jordan...along with expirings. Thunder has the Raptors lotto pick and Perry Jones III who many used to compare to a young KG.

OKC could also move Martin though that would leave them pretty thin at guard.

I'm actually surprised the Thunder aren't in that rumor, they would be a better fit than the Clips imo.

Other than making it known they wanna keep CP3 i dont the logic of the Clippers getting involved, and I'd personally keep Bledsoe and Jordan over vying for KG.

All they need to do is take a look at Lal-La Land and realize giving up real assets for old dudes that's sure to break down, and aren't an absolute improvement is not the way to go.

Around a week. Thibs has been riding him for 40mpg. Not surprising at all. Bulls will have their usual collapse in the playoffs.

This season it's only been the late end of Jan, but he was out with it in 2010 and IIRC 2011 as well. He may have to with draw from the AS game. OT I find it funny when people here bash Melo while other ELITE teams would love to have him  this is from the bulls board.

Wow... Apparently "usual collapse" for you means losing 2 star players on a regular basis in the playoffs...

Thibs led them to the ECF 2 years ago with a relatively healthy team.
Last year, Rose and Noah went out for the season in the first 3 games of the series.

Means that Bulls will collapse again this year too I guess (For the record, I do think Thibs has overplayed Noah a little this season, but its been out of necessity. There isn't a suitable backup C because Nazr is done.)

And I'd guess Noah could be out till the ASB because he had the same issue with the other foot 3 years ago and he missed 18 games. They caught it really early though, so if he gets rest and treatment and doesn't rush back, it shouldn't be an issue for the rest of the season.

The reason why you guys will never win and will always collapse in the playoffs is because you play each game in the regular season as if its game7 of the nba finals. So when teams take it to another level in the playoffs you guys can't because you are already playing at 100%. #noplayoffgear

Lol. What was the score when Rose went down? What was the series like when Noah went down?

Even two years ago, Bulls had huge problems with the Pacers in the first round and would have been out if it wasn't for 20 Fts by Rose in game 2.

Heat did you easily in the ECF.

Bulls are going nowhere again. Thibs basketball can only win in the regular season. It's too predictable and easy to contain when you prepare for it.

What???? Best rosters in NBA history huh?
How?
They have depth and are good but as you saw without CP3 they struggle because they have no other closer.

melo averages 38mpg. And 40mpg the last 10. The Bulls have never lost to a team they were favored to beat in the last 4 season of making the playoffs. Unless you count last season when both Noah and Rose were out.

Of which both players averaged under 36 minutes a game that season. The only player on Chicago who has played heavy minutes on a consistent basis has been Deng.

Oh so we make excuses for other teams but when our team is injured we just call them scrubs. I see how that works. Bookmarked just in case.

Lol come on man, that's a bit of hyperbole, maybe if they had prime Grant Hill and KG on their roster.

1. Melo i snot Noah. Different body, Different player.
2. I will ask again - what was the score in that game when Rose went down? What was the the series like when Noah went down?
3. Bulls had the best record and swept Miami in the regular season, how were they not favored?
4. If it wasn't for 20fts by Rose in Game 2 against Indiana 2 seasons ago, it would have been 2 first round exists in a row.
5. What's the excuse going to be this season? Better get 'em ready.

Noah has always had problems with his feet, he missed 18 games in 2009-10 because of Plantar Fasciitis.

The Bulls were up 12 when Rose went down; biggest lead was 20. Rose had 21 attempts in game one and the Bulls still beat Indiana in 5 games; beat Atlanta in 6. Miami was just the better team.

If the Bulls lose this year it will be because of lack of offense.
