Anyone else concerned about Celtics first rd matchup?

I'm worried about the refs,they let KG do whatever the hell he wants,and you know that Rivers puts pressure on the refs,i don't mind if games are physical but only if it's the same criterion for both teams,if thats the case,try to push around Martin,Chandler,Thomas... KG.

i actually don't fear the refs in this series...Stern wants the Knicks vs the Heat

that is the matchup he wants I assume and he will do what he can to get that. I actually think the refs will be on our side after this 12 game winning streak. We have proved we play well on national TV and have enough marquee players to get the ratings stern wants.

A Champ is always a threat but their lack of a true PG to create easy shots is a hinderence to them

this is true

two years ago when we played them they were a different team and so were we

remember we didn't have Chandler and Billups was broken. Amare and Melo had barely played together and D'Antoni was our coach. We had little depth at the time.

This year we have confidence, home court and depth. We have Felton, Kidd and Prigs at the 1. We have 6th man extrodinaire Smith and we have Shumpert. We have Chandler and Martin. We have MVP-level Melo. We have guys like Novak and Copeland who can put up points in a hurry and we have Camby and potential Wallace who can step in and shut people down.

And Boston has KG and Pierce without Rondo or Allen. They have Green. They have a few role players. They have Rivers. ANd they have confidence.

Playoffs are never easy. This won't be an easy matchup. But its a matchup we are prepared for and we are able to win. It might get us well acclimated for the 2nd round too. We shouldn't expect a cake walk

Much rather face Boston than Chicago. This team can beat anyone but certainly Thibs seems to have our number. I don't think the Celtics have the legs to last a series against us. Plus sometimes you've got to exorcize your demons to win a chip and so it would be fitting to go through Boston and then eventually Miami.
