Knicks need someone tough upfront. Unless they can get a 30 min guy like Perkins Im cringing at this as a move at PF. Amare they are phasing you out.

TKF is going to be very happy!

J/K but this is a good gamble. We need scorers and Bargnani has talent. He's only 27 and he fits with Melo. At least on offense. Il Margo can't guard his own shadow and he's soft on D but this is a trade we have to make. It's only Camby and two meaningless picks.

I have no problem with this if we weren't giving up a 1st rnd pick. Unless it has a restriction like the right to swap, then go for it, we already don't have a 2014 first rounder.

Im very serious about this, Bargnani will have the same transformation Harden did when he got traded to the Rockets

I'm sure the trade is Bargnani and 2 picks for Camby and Novak. If we trade another 1st round pick for a underachieving player I'm going to be beyond pissed!

Bargs is actually good/above average in man to man defense. As soon as you need him to switch or defend a pick and roll he gets lost almost immediately.

Are we losing that in the trade? No we're not. Camby won't play, and Novak is even worse than Bargs in that department, heres how I see the trade,

Novak for Bargs, thats literally the trade when it boils down to it, that is a great trade.

He doesn't need to start, and if we does, we have Amar'e and others off the bench,

The only person a better fit in between Melo and Tyson would be Dirk, Bargs is literally the 2nd best player to put between Tyson and Melo, trust me.

Amare's knees phased him out. He was probably gonna get hurt in training camp anyway.

actually i take that back. while i wont throw shump in there for anything. at the end of the day this deal is about 2 picks for barg..... camby and novak are for salary considerations

i guess this is not among the worse moves we have made over the years
