If Lin was on the team, they wouldn't have been 2nd in the East last year

Conjecture. And he and Felton were about equal last year, so....

Rondo is not a top5 PG
We have no shot at Rondo unless we swallow Boston bad contracts and give up expirings plus STAT that finish in 2015
Houston should not be interested in Rondo, AWFUL fit for them

That's the truth

Let me guess you think Curry is better than him?

And saying keeping Lin would have led to the same success isn't? Lin needs the ball more than Ray to be effective. Ray played great in the beginning, and end of last season.

Rumored major blockbuster involving #Knicks, #Lakers and #Kings. Shump to Sac, Gasol and Isaiah Thomas to Knicks, Felton & Amare to LA.

ROFL, what a great trade if true. Not a legit source though.

I thought this was better :rofl2:

I'm not going to 100% write this off but 99.9% of me believes this source like you said is bullsh*t.

Edit:

Ahh he's claiming B/R as the sources, I'll give B/R the benefit of the doubt because they have revamped how they do journalism & getting better sources over the summer.

The only thing appealing for the Celtics is we can take back all there bad contracts. We give up 2015 plan but we get Rondo

Melo might be a goner if no improvements are made!! Rondo can be the reason for him to opt-in and become a FA in 2015... When also Shump will be a FA, too!!

Tyson
Love
Melo
Shump
Rondo

Melo's and all Knicks fans (pipe) dream!! 2015 cant be a fluke; but it has to start, NOW!!

so lakers blow up their 2014 fa plan by turning pau's expiring into amare's nonexpiring, while downgrading in talent just to get Felton? legit

Isn't Gasol an expiring? And wouldn't LAL & D'Antoni want Bargnani instead of Amare? This is clearly made-up. :D

LOLOLOL at the thought of Ainge even considering that.

Child please.

Makes much more sense salary wise then Houston offer... Also much more sense talent wise!!

All Asik does is rebounding and post defense... Sullinger does the same for 10 fold cheaper!!

Amare contract expires two seasons earlier and Shump, Felton getting paid ~6M combined!!

Alsooo, they would dump Wallace's and Lee's awful contracts. Amare is the KEY: The irony! :)

Please don't compare Sullinger to Asik. Asik is one of the premier defensive C's in the league. He may just rebound and play post defence but he does it damn well.

Not a chance Boston considers this unless it's a three team deal.

Man you can't say what you said.. life don't work that way.. he stays in NY And the whole course of history changes.. could be for the worse sure.. but it could also be for the better or it could've been the exact same. Don't come on here talking that garbage you can't prove man. Move on.

Rondo is an amazing fit for Houston. Gives them 2 guys that can playmate & allows Harden to focus on being efficient. Starting Rondo then having Beverly come off the bench has to be mouth watering from a defensive standpoint.
The floor will be spaced & Rondo will help Dwight offensively. I can't see how its a bad fit, its not like Rondo needs to take 15 shots a game to be effective.

He's only a good fit if Harden conceded the ball... I don't think he would so the fit is a bad one.

IF we got Rondo (which is not going to happen) I would seriously consider seeing if Chris Paul has the pull to push a Melo for Griffin deal.... Rondo/Griffin would be a better duo than Rondo/Melo I think... just as Paul/Melo is better than Paul/Griffin..
