Victor Oladipo-SG

Reasoning: Not many quality SG left in the draft as well as being a weak position overall, I had to draft Oladipo. He is compared to D Wade by his peers/experts and I can definitely see that comparison. He is a freakish athlete with high upside and excellent work ethic. He's only 23 years old and has shown ton of potential. I love his defensive tenacity and energy he brings to each play as well as his versatility. Also he's getting better on offense year by year. Recently, he had couple great games including tonight with game tying shot to lead his team to OT. Durant could be a great mentor to Oladipo as he grows as a player. They are a great fit next to each other. They worked out together this off-season in fact. Both have common similarities-being #2 pick and from DC. This was an actual quote from Durant on Oladipo-"I know this may sound maybe a little too early," Durant said, "but he reminds me a lot of Dwyane Wade in his body, his athleticism and how he gets to the basket. I'm not saying he's Dwyane Wade, but he reminds me a lot of him. He's definitely looking forward to taking on that role." Durant/Oladipo is a solid 1-2 duo/punch for OKC not only now, but in the future as well.

Reasoning: I got the player who I wanted as I need a big man! OKC is ecstatic to have Noel. Arguably, I have the best offensive player in the game in KD and now defensive player in the game in Noel in terms of both present and future. Noel is a menace when it comes to defense whether it's being a rim protector and blocking shots everywhere or grabbing steals. He will definitely win a DPOY in the future if not multiple DPOY when it's all said and done. At only age 21, he has ton of time to get bigger and better every year. I need him for his defense and protect the inside as I know he has offensive flaws, but with Oladipo/Durant being my primary shooters...that's okay. He should be able to grab those boards and push it out to one of my shooters. Plus Noel can be a double double machine (avg 10/10) so I'll take that. It seems like Noel is out of place in Philly whether it's playing PF or C. It looks like C is the primary position that he has relished in and we will keep him at that position for the time being unless things change. I have established a solid trio of Noel, Oladipo, and Durant who can compete for years to come as none of them have reached their prime.
