You all need to chill about DRose. He might not be PG killer like he was in '11, but he can ball damn well and he can open things up for Melo and KP.

You guys are tripping this is an amazing trade. Lopez was good no doubt but Rose is an expiring contract. No more Calderon, still basically have the same cap space to work with except now we don't have to go max out Conley. If we suck we can trade Rose for future pieces.

This is also about being players in the 2017 Free Agency where Rose expires.
RoLo would've dipped into our cap ability to sign another major piece next year.
