I'm also thinking KP is making a decent jump.

There's a reason why we're transitioning him to becoming the franchise cornerstone THIS season.

Having Noah's leadership and Rose and Jennings' ability to get him good looks will be huge. He also won't have to work so hard on offense and can maintain the level of defensive energy he had the 1st half of last season.

Sure my optimistic (i.e. healthy) predictions:

1. Cavs
2. Boston
3. Indiana
4. New York
5. Toronto
6. Atlanta
7. Detroit
8. Orlando

Just missing the cut: Miami/Chicago

Some random Player stats:
KP: 18/8/2.5 blocks in 35 mpg
Me7o: 21/7/4 in hopefully under 35 mpg
Rose: 15/5/3 in about 30 mpg
Noah: 8/10/4 in about 30 mpg
Lee: 10 points+good D
BJ: 12/4 off the bench in 25-ish minutes both backing up Rose and playing with him in the backcourt

EDIT: To add even though i have Bos/Ind ahead in the standings I think if we're healthy we're the more dangerous playoff team.

Clev - Haven't heard anything about JR yet, is he looking for a bigger pay role?
Celts - Horford gives them a decent big, but he isn't made for the playoffs, looks good in the regular season though
Knicks - A lot of ifs, but we picked up some true leaders with a lot of experience. I believe our key will be Jennings.
Toronto - lost Biyombo who was a key player off the bench
Pacers - I just don't see what people are seeing with the Pacers. Al Jefferson looked terrible last year and they seemed better with Zeller
Hawks - Howard better than Horford + Teague? highly dought it
Detroit - I really like what Detroit brought in the playoffs, up and coming team
Orlando - some nice pickups this off-season

Chicago - I just don't feel that Wade, Rondo, and Butler can co-exist, Rondo couldn't get the Kings to the playoffs with Gay and Cousins!
Mil - Standing still
Char - They lost big this off-season and their big pick up was Hibbert? Al Jefferson was better this year and that's not a good thing.

I think we'll finish 4th, partly because we will only really gel after we've played about 20 games. That will reduce our seed, but I can see us performing even better than that in the playoffs. Good teams with a lot of new players can get better and better over time. I see us having a chance to reach the ECF if everybody is healthy.

we are better than the raptors, i get that they were a 2 seed this last year but they didn't improve at all and almost everyone else did

granted, we made a LOT more moves than these other teams did, but i think we'll be able to win games just on talent alone for the first half of the year. then as long as we begin hitting our stride after the break, we should be able to land in the top 3 - barring a bunch of injuries, obviously.

If DRose misses 40 games where are we at? I feel a little bit like when Knicks got Steve Franchise. We don't really have that glue b/u point guard ie Priggy Smalls or Langsanity.

Continuity and chemistry is underrated. And they have enough young guys themselves that are improving (JV/Corey Joesph/Delon Wright/Norman Powell). They won as many games as they did last year while missing their starting SF/C for half the season. Dont underestimate them, theyre really good (in the regular season)

This off-season has been so crazy we could place anywhere from 2nd to 8th but if we can stay healthy were a playoff team for sure

Knicks will be the 9th seed because that's what they do. They let you down. Expecting anything less just leads to heartbreak and disappointment.
