Are people going to call Embiid out now? Man who cares about some exit Meeting. How about the 73 year old man carry his ass as a professional instead of saying KP should do that. I expect way more professionalism out of Phil Jackson than KP. He calls out Melo. Got this stupid triangle thing he wants and some don't want it. It's just a mess. Tell Phil to act like the professional that's expected from his position.

I will need to go support San Antonio. I am too old for this sh*t. San Antonio does everything right regarding their youth. They have shooting coaches. Pop has great relationship with all players. We just like to hate on our own players. F*ck this franchise.

No. Gotta get #3, the Nets 2018, and the Lakers / Sacramento option. We need three legit shots at getting a player potentially as elite as KP could become.

Boston can afford to do that trade.

If it was up to me, no way. KP and #8 is better than Josh Jackson and #8.

well to be fair to the question

is KP and 8 bettie than

Josh Jackson, 8, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart and lets say pick #18 next year from LA

What do you do when Boston offers exactly what Phil asks?

if you are getting three shots to get a player of KP's level why would you move KP?

theoretically you would hope to land 3 players at KPs level, not take 3 shots to get him again

Would you:

Marquese Chriss, Eric Bledso, #4 pick

for KP & Noah

give me a hell yeah!!!

Draft JJ @ 4 and Monk @8
Bledsoe, Monk, Willie, Chriss & JJ... give them a couple of seasons to grow together and mature - I seriously believe you have the makings of a contender

Sure he's been bad but that's not franchise damaging. He's had one awful contract in Noah. His trades weren't even that bad. The only thing you can really complain is not getting enough value for his pieces. He hasn't really given up anything in trades. You know like unprotected 1st for Tmac, Bargs, etc. The tweeting and pissing players off, whatever, that's really not that important. Isiah literally went to court for sexual harassment and Dolan tried to help cover it up and people don't even mention it anymore.
Phil trading KP for garbage would be a franchise altering move. But atm we have picks and a nice looking front court of the future. The rest is noise.

(Snipped because quote was all messed up.)

Noah's contract is beyond awful - it's the worst or second worst in the entire NBA. On top of that, there was no need for him with the front court we had.

He's acquired players in an attempt to make the playoffs, only to fail because either they're always hurt, they suck, or they don't fit. He traded away RoLo for **** and got horrible value in the previous deals before that. That cannot be overlooked.

I don't think it's noise as all - if KP is legitimately annoyed, and players already don't want to sign here, we're ****. The fact that he went on TV to reduce the value of Melo (after already doing so through Rosen and Twitter) and then goes on TV to complain about KP and alienate our future shows that he's an immature twat who doesn't know what he's doing (especially when you take into account everything he's done). The tweeting and callin players out IS important because it's a players league. If players don't want to play here because they don't like Phil, we're ****.

Yeah, Thomas was very bad, but that doesn't excuse Phil one bit for being a **** FO executive either.

I agree Phil has been bad. And yes the rolo trade was bad and that worries me that he'll get a crap return. But listen to what I'm arguing. Franchise damaging is was Sean Marks inherited from the Nets. No picks, no stars, etc. If Phil was fired and was replaced with Someone more competent, are you going to tell me that we wouldn't be in a good spot? We'd probably be in the best position we have been in over a decade honestly.
What you're saying isn't wrong. But I don't think it's as big of a deal as you think. No one was coming to this team anyway. Who was signing here before Phil came here? We're going to have to win games to get players to sign period. Phil isn't here forever, all this **** will be forgotten once he leaves. It's more of a stain on him than the Knicks.

Adelheid wrote:I think Phil is not really serious about trading KP (non-sensically huge demands). He just wants to get a rise out of KP, which is normal Phil behavior.

You think so after reading Phils.. I mean Rosens article saying that KP lacks here and there and his attitude is terrible and he is naive little kid that doesn't know anything therefore he must be traded? You think Porzingis and Knicks relationship is gonna be OK after that?

Dude is as good as gone  I don't know how could Phil possibly turn things right between him and his players.. damn what a f*cking stubborn moron he is, it's unreal
Old man thinks he is right to hire terrible coaches to force a system upon resisting players meanwhile sh*tting on them via media.

Diva or no diva - Phil has shat all over the place and now he is blaming it all on a 21yo  trying to trade him because he knows he has f*cked up and theres no other options than to get best possible return and start from zero again and hope for the best

no

thats a terrible trade

Bledstoe is a great PG but often injured and making a lot of cash
Chris is average at best
shedding Noah is great but not a priority as were not trying to use the cap space anyway right now

it becomes #4 for KP which is a terrible trade
