A smarter, stronger, more hard working Rudy Gay.

It's the smoothness that makes the comparison for me.
I can't say that cuz T Mac was an amazing handler fur his height, which opened up so many options that Knox doesn't have. I don't think TMacs skillset is really teachable, you either have it or you don't but I do think Knox could get a better handle in his own regard. Could also get stronger than Tmac was.

There is literally nothing similar. Tracy had way more athleticism and was just a smooth player. Knox is more raw power.

Re: Kevin Knox Comparison?
He reminds me of a teenager who tries to emulate KD. Has some natural talent and length and athleticism. Reportedly a hard worker fast learner with a good BBIQ and a love/understanding of the game. High ceiling player picked 9th in the draft.
Hope this staff can really develop him into a stud player. Whoever he's similar to.

Paul George. Similar build, similar style, even has a similar jumpshot animation. Knox has clearly worked on his shot more than rookie PG13, but nobody cared about 3pt shooting in 2010.

He looks like a less efficient version of KD and Tatum

A young DWade in the way that he drives hard and usually crashes to the floor.

I've said it from Day 1: Klay Thompson. Maybe a little Antwan Jamison or Danny Granger.

Knox doesnt pass enough or create enough off the dribble for others to be a Klay/Granger. Plus both of those guys are above average defenders. We havent seen enough of Knox to characterize his defense.
• And yet he did all of that in SL. Averaging like 2.5 APG passing to G-Leaguers.
• Leading fastbreaks.
• Defending his man decently. Neither Granger nor Klay were/are elite defenders. Just BARELY above average.
...Fuqn clueless "fans" sometimes. I tell ya.

Idk about Klay.
He seems like really good defender. I recall Lebron having tough time against him couple of years ago.

He can be better than Granger, Rudy Gay, etc... He can really become a force to be reckoned with with his skill set. A stronger KD?

and certainly not at a Marion level
on the offensive side of the ball I think he's incredibly different as well
Hes a pure shooter, unlike marion, and a smooth as butter driver
I loved marion but I simply see zero comparisons besides size
I see more Tobias Harris or Rudy Gay or someone like that
I hope Im wrong
he's very young and can develop into a defender someday
I think I am gonna break the cardinal rule of comparisons but...
Why the MPJr highlight tape?

It's the smoothness that makes the comparison for me.
I can't say that cuz T Mac was an amazing handler fur his height, which opened up so many options that Knox doesn't have. T-Mac was basically the point guard on the teams he played for and a great playmaker but I don't think he was like that until signing with Orlando. Knox made a significant improvement in his ball handling and running PNR. So I don't think it's out of the question of him becoming someone like that if he continues to improve. He moves a lot like Giannis in the open court but has modeled his game after Durant. I can't imagine he becoming like those guy but fingers crossed that he does.

He reminds me of Rudy Gay, and Gay was a solid player. I think Knox will be better
