KD, arguably the best player in the NBA was rejected by the Knicks because of an injury that will keep him out for one season. Brooklyn Net said we will take him along with Kyrie. KD wanted the Knicks all season, and the Knicks said, sorry, you are damage goods. The future will tell the truth of this tail.

AD told the Knicks, trade for me and I will sign long term. Knicks said sorry AD, we don't want to trade our young all star assets for you bro. Lakers, an organization with multiple championships said we will trade for him. Results of this trade starts next season.

Maybe the Knicks should just give all their free agents the Kevin Knox workout, so they can be sure to sign a future superstar.

My advice to Knicks fans, don't waste too much time on the Knicks until they are smart enough to put a winning product on the court.

My advice to you is study up a bit on Achilles injuries and the lack of success rate for player's in their 30's coming back from it.

Essentially we'd be paying him 55 million a year IF he played 3 seasons worth of ball which is no guarantee. Also, who knows what he'll look like when he comes back; it's conceivable he won't look that good for the first year back on the court. That leaves 2 years left on his contract with a guy who would be 33 years old.

It would've been such an old Knicksy thing to do to gamble with something like that.

And just to let you know, the Nets are the first team in the history of the NBA to give a max to a player who is guaranteed not to play the first year of his contract. That's 3 years- at the very most- of a player who's obviously going to be well outside of his prime nearing his mid 30's by the end of that contract.

Yea, no thanks.

Mmm spicy post right here, pin it

The problem with drivel like this is they're trying to couple an Achilles injury with the more common injuries in the league.

Rupturing your Achilles is not the same as tearing your medial meniscus. It's not the same as tearing your ACL and PCL's.

Achilles ruptures are essentially the kiss of death for high level athletes. Factor in that father time is undefeated and it's an easy pass.

The reason why we chose Randle was Randle is Zion Lite. It will help RJ Barrett.
Knox is like Cam Reddish but only better.
Add Mitch and Dennis Smith.
This is a good move fellas.
In short, all I am saying is RJ-Brunson-Grimes-Quickley-Randle are the untouchables moving forward.

If the Knicks can get nice pieces around the Knicks with the 51m, they could contend for a playoff spot.

The pattern is that Kyrie is nuts and not that into competitive basketball. At least not if he has to sacrifice a lot.

I don’t care about his craziness it’s the situation he was put into in Boston that I didn’t like and knew would fail.

Kyrie isn’t good enough to be the best player on a title team but in his mind he thought he was.

He needs to be a second or third option or Cleveland where he was in the perfect situation
