If the Knicks show restraint in free agency and in the trade market, and tank next season, then I'll start having a little bit of faith in this front office.

If there was ever a year to tank for the Knicks, it's this one. No fans, next year's draft is very top heavy and the free agent pool will be deeper. Windhorst hit the nail on the head.

I just hope we sign a competent point guard who can shoot so the team can play real basketball as opposed to whatever sports the Knicks were playing last year.

I mean 2021 draft is considered 1 of the deepest in the past 10 years. I'm willing to be patient, get another top 10 pick than sign a bunch of B-list players to overpriced contracts (b/c Knicks usually have to pay above market value) that A) hurt draft positioning B) hurt cap flexibility....in hopes of what? MAYBE (and that's a big maybe) getting the 8 seed and losing in 4 games

To be fair, Knicks fans have basically run our of town the last 2 big name free agents that signed here. And those 2 guys wanted to be here. Why would anyone be surprised that guys with no particular affection for NY don't want to be here?
