Good loss. Clippers are just better overall, no shame.
Our core balled out (Randle, RJ & IQ)
And we did enough to impress Kawhi 8-)

i understand because when things are real bad, i'm one of the worst on here. but you got a bunch of young talent playing well, you're competitive with those kids playing a lot, you got extra picks, you got cap space, it aint bad.

Just the 23

21 is completely unprotected

But 23 is top 10 protected in 24 and 25, then becomes a 2nd in 26 I believe.

wait how many picks did they get from the trade?

Only 2.
Protected picks can be deflected to other years is what he meant by the 24 & 25 thing. If the Mavs suck in 23 and gets a top 10 pick, we have to wait another year for their 1st. If they suck again, we have to wait 1 more year. If the Mavs are stuck in the top 10 for 3 years straight after 2023, we only get 2 2nds.

Knicks played well but lost to a top team.
I got nothing against the Clippers so they need to use all that firepower and go beat the Lakers and Nets.

Thibs in presser: “I didn’t like how we started the second half”

...He may be seeing what we all are seeing. It’s gotta happen eventually.

Bring on the losses. I want a shot at Cade.

We’ve lost 4 out of the last 5, we’ll be right there.

We have by far the easiest schedule left in the half (I think 16 games left). Toughest opponent might be Indy. We’re gonna be decent through mid March.

even when we were still winning games with the new and improved randle sht didn't feel right with rj being terrible. now that rj has turned it around the season has a different feel to it. Him developing into a legit piece is pivotal for our chances to be contenders going forward.

Quickley is in a Catch-22

If he plays well, to Thibs that means it's the right move to keep him on the bench

If he plays bad, then that's all the more reason to not start him and in fact is a reason to give him less minutes

Just a lose-lose situation.
BaF Lakers:

VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

can we talk about rivers blatantly ignoring obi multiples times and both situations he had a wide open dunk?

it's not just obi, this team ignores robinson's calling for lobs too.

That’s not an excuse to play that fossil who does nothing and can do nothing

Play Randle at C some and / or go small with Obi as the PnR finally

Common sense decision instead of putting a dude out there who needlessly clogs the paint and brings nothing to the table

TAJ WAS VET LEADERSHIPPING ALL OVER THE PLACE!

I didn't mind Taj playing SOME. Zubacs is a big mutant. But they should have gone with Randle 10 minutes at point center

We still might with the Mavs pick :D

To be fair, in this deep draft, we can actually land a franchise guy in the 10-15 range. A lot of variables.
Or we can package both and move up of course.
