Then, after a 24-58 season, they traded Dennis as well, getting Melo salary dump contract for a lottery-protected FRP.

They traded Jeff Teague, who was one of their main pieces from the 60 win and ECF team. They let THJ walk and didn't match the ridiculous contract the Knicks gave him. They completed a sign and trade deal for Millsap sending him to Denver which brought them a 2018 first round pick. They let Horford walk because the Celtics gave him a ridiculous contract and they weren't matching it. Which all ultimately set them up for a full rebuild.

Gives Burks the PG spot, keeps the IQ/Obi tandem for the reserves. Plays less Fournier, and won't play a second of McBride, and only 10 minutes of the Obi/Randle frontcourt if Noel can't go.

Still, its a loss.
