he for sure needs to step up. I've always been an RJ believer but he's been making it hard this season. clearly the worst #3 pick in the past few years

Any vaccinated NBA player is placed in the health and safety protocols after testing positive for COVID-19 or receiving an inconclusive COVID-19 test result.

It’s very likely he has COVID. Every player and coach I’ve seen that entered protocols all said they had COVID.

People being mad dramatic in here. I don’t recall even a single case of an NBA player being in dire health straits after entering health & safety protocols. Not even the unvaccinated players like Kyrie or Beal have been reported to be hospitalized. So clearly with Randle being vaccinated he will be good. Let’s stop acting like anyone has wished him death or anything remotely near that. Cats breaking out violins and schit. Despite some taking the ethical approach like “it’s not that serious to celebrate someone getting COVID” others can spin it as “it’s not that serious, his life is not in the balance.” I can see both sides. No one needs to be shamed for how they emotionally reacted to the news. These are some the best athletes in the world. Plus he’s vaccinated. He will be good.

Now let’s enjoy some Obi!!!!!!!

Don’t be so sure. Johnnie Bryant just went in too. They might end up spending some time together trying to get his head straight.

And if you think that couldn’t be done, WHY? All it takes is Randle privately agreeing with a guy like Bryant he would benefit from a break. Then he says he’s feeling symptoms and is unwell and they can take pre-emptive measures without a positive test.

. All jokes aside, I hope he gets healthy and gets back to top form. He has looked gassed in a lot of games where that wasn't an issue last year. I think child #2 is to blame. Knicks also have to do a better job at getting him in good scoring positions. He was doing a lot of his damage operating from the mid post last year with fadaways and lean ins which hasn't been where he is operating from this season. I am not giving up on Julius yet.
