That is just the look of teams coached by Tom for too long

As a fan base we really need to have a conversation about Josh Hart. He is getting paid way too much to just be doing Cardio out there.

The Magic’s young team started showing signs of being pretty good a year ago. They started bad but I believe had a winning record from January on last season. The front office has a couple stars in place and when healthy a ton of depth and a team that defends well. They’re going to be in the thick of it for a while. Good game tonight Knicks, see you in a few weeks. No doubt that’ll be a tough game too.

most of IQ’s misses were when the game was on the line. So we can’t draw any connections between today and his playoffs? It’s one game. But starters need to be good when it matters most, otherwise they’re … not starters.

I don't get your point.

I was only refuting your claim that one shot better than the other as scoring efficiency shows that the opposite was true.

What is there to say other than he’s grossly overpaid and get used to seeing him until 2028 because nobody is taking that off our hands

Basically looking like Jrue Holiday part 2.

Jrue had more vision to me on Nola. Suggs feels more like a bigger Derrick White who causes even more chaos in the passing lanes. Very curious to see how he continue to develop. Shot 21% from 3 year 1 and 32% last year. Up to 37% now - who doesn’t love that kind of upward trend

… also IQ took 12 shots to get 10 points and RJ took 17 to get 19. It’s a wash. Both of OUR CITED stats are correct but IQ didn’t do much of anything with RARE crunch time and RJ was bad first half.

You agree that IQ didn’t do anything to help win the game at the end right? We can still say that can’t we without quoting numbers. There is a place for that bottom line statement still - isn’t there - without numbers? Yes or no.

RJ had a bad 19, IQ did not stay red hot to help win. Right? Yes?

I still think there is time to trade him. Before the extension kicks in, only because he can be added to another trade easier. There are teams he could go to an add value to their squad. The Knicks honestly just have too many guys who can do what he does. He would do well on a team that doesn’t have a lot of good bench players and need a garbage man to do the little things that lead to wins. Once the Knicks having Taj, DDV, IQ and Grimes as bench guys makes the things he add not as important.

IQ has been bad in the playoffs, yes?

And TS% is still not the only measure. 4-10 is 4-10. He made less of his shots than RJ. Right?

Efficiency is helpful but I can list for you ways it’s not the only thing. Player momentum, the value of a 2 opening up a 3. You’re fibbing a little to turn all shots into efficiency.

It’s important but not that clear. Some of the best scorers have been volume.

Absolutely correct. They were terrific in the 2nd half of the season.

And again I want to say unambiguously that RJ had a poor game.

It’s really starting to feel like there is going to be a trade on the horizon. I’m sure we’ll all hate it which is what the board thrives on. Leon’s biggest mid season acquisitions can’t be Cam Reddish and Josh Hart. Tom is starting to spiral in post games. Buckle the F up

19/6/2 is not really what I would call poor. He is taking a lot of shots, but Brunson was struggling and there isn’t another wing they can sub in for him anyway.

Love to see it.

Yeah I definitely saw several fouls they just ignored. Brunson was not getting any respect from the refs tonight.

Well he was better but the team lost without ever being VERY close and he did indeed, as DaYahooGawd said, help kill us first half.

So I’m fine conceding he didn’t have a good game. In fact that’s true … to me.

19 on 17 is not good and he didn’t ever make any big shots tonight. My main point is that IQ got a big chance and did nothing with it.

If the Cavs put Donovan on the block I wonder if Orlando would pick up the phone. Take some pressure off Paolo/Franz while surrounding him with an elite athletic defense
